This is a good effort. Little things like the level wipes are nice touches. The level design for a platformer is decent, and quite challenging. The graphics and sound/music is appropriate. Keep up the good work!

btw, there is a bug on one of the levels where you need to jump on an enemy to avoid the spikes because if you hit the spikes after killing the enemy, the "try again" doesn't reload that character making it impossible to finish the level.

You know, it takes a special kind of courage to be in 5th grade and see what using Godot looks like and then not instantly run away because it looks complicated. Everyone around your age that I know in real life would see that thing and say “too complicated” and delete Godot. But you have the courage, the spark. You made a game!

As for the feedback, here goes. The movement lets the player go far quickly, but the tight jumps make up for it in difficulty. Honestly, the best part is that you have the skill to playtest a game that’s rather tough. I myself spent like 15 minutes clearing Level 5 and I like to think of myself as a pretty skilled gamer. I liked the challenge a lot.

The visuals fit together surprisingly well when they came from various sources. I especially liked that transition. I liked it music as well.

I needed little bit of imagination to see where you’re coming from with the theme.

Pretty fun platformer! I like the visuals. I don't know if it was intended this way, but after the jump the character descends very slowly, but I can't call it a disadvantage. Very good job!

Cute little one, liked you put the effort for a tutorial, overall polished, I generally prefer "heavier" feel on the gravity, but that's just my taste

Thanks for the feedback! I felt like I needed a tutorial so people wouldn' t get confused. :)

Cool platformer, I enjoyed my time playing it, really impressive for a fifth grader!

Developer

Thanks a lot!!!!! I've been learning for about a year.

Good work. Cute platformer, very simple. I ended up beating all the levels. Keep making games man!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! I'm trying to more games!!!

I used mainly Craftpix Assets.

The character's collider kept hitting things it shouldn’t, at least that’s how it felt while playing. The sound effects can get a bit annoying when you hear them for a long time.

Other than that, great work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! Sorry about the sound effects (They were a last minute addition)

Really nice game, but for me, on level 5 the enemy you're supposed to jump on got killed and didn't respawn. Other than that, really great game with no issues!

Developer

I found that bug, but didn't have time to fix it. Thanks for the feedback!

Really nice platformer. However, enemies would sometimes not respawn so I had to get killed on purpose to restart the level again when I needed them for jumping. Also the player hurtbox is really unforgiving, but that may be on purpose. Job well done.

Thanks for the feedback. I found that bug, but didn't have time to fix it. :)

Good work! A couple of the jumps were pretty tough! The sound effects seemed a touch too loud compared to the music, and the exit level button seems to be broken, but otherwise good stuff! Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback on the game. I think I fixed the exit level buttons in the final version but they might of not uploaded correctly.

I enjoyed playing it. It was really cool to see how each stage in the level added something new.

Thanks a lot! (Your game was actully the first game I played from the submissions). Have a nice day! :)
