Ranked from 34 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
In two or maybe just one way, depending on how you see it:
First, it’s like saying it to yourself — or here, the box — as a way to, let’s
say, calm down - what could go wrong?.
The second way is a bit more ironic, as something is definitely bound to go wrong in the game.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The graphics are from an asset pack. I didn't create the music, and for the sound, I used samples from Pixabay.

How many people worked on the game?

Cool game! I like how you have to be careful and can’t just speed through the levels! The movement is a bit slippery, I don’t know if it was intended.

oh, I ,cough, push that to the themeinterpretation 'Something is definitely bound to go wrong in the game' cough

I don't know how you came up with idea of protagonist, made from wood boxes, but that's awesome! Overall, a fun and inventive precision platformer!

Uhm, maybe to skip charackter animations 😂🙊

But thanks for the feedback!

Great take on the theme! I've managed to complete the whole game and the extra levels around 130 deaths, I gotta say the last two difficult levels had me go into pro-gamer mode because I died a ton of times in there, kinda frustrating but it fits with the precision platformer going on here, if anything I feel some levels are easier than the level that precedes it, like level 6 is easier than level 5 in my opinion, and level 10 seems pretty easy comparing it to all the previous levels when it is the last level of the regular ones. And finally the jump feels quite floaty, but maybe that was part of the design idea, but besides that the controls feel really good.
Overall the game is really good, loved to played it.

Thanks for the detailed feedback, I appreciate it.
I did not expect someone to beat the extra levels, haha.

Really fun game....... tho the explosions could have been a lil less jump scary T-T. Dw this was just a personal problem ;)

Played this before submissions opened and forgot to rate. Nice game. Presented some challenge while remaining enjoyable and engaging. Took me a few attempts on the later levels. Good level design and puzzle planning. GG.

Jogo ótimo!

Um sistema de geração procedural poderia ser adicionado caso você pretenda continuar desenvolvendo-o.

This is a nice twist on the precision platformer. It's simple enough that when you screw up that you blame yourself as a player for not getting it right, but challenging enough that screw-ups are inevitable. Some of the visuals are really polished.

I had fun playing this game and even gave the extra hard levels a try. Nice game :)

The audiovisual design is so clean and beautiful. Game mechanic is simple to understand and fun to play.

The difficulty is balanced very well in my opinion. I mean the first 10 levels, the bonus ones are pure evil! :-D But it is so awesome you have added them!

Great game!

Nice Art Style  and Fun Idea For Playing as a Crate, GL.

This was very fun to play! I think the gameplay is very unique and sort of turns the game into a puzzle platformer without slowing the gameplay down, and I really enjoyed how tight the controls felt! Congrats on the game!

fun game and really cool art style

It's so much fun, each level is challenging and requires careful thought to pass.

The mechanics were pretty clever. The theme was excellent! Short and sweet. I really like the inclusion of 'extreme' levels as an optional additional content.

Wonderful! I loved playing this, even the hardest parts (but I couldn't pass the extra levels lol sorry)

I think it's the first time I see a fragile box being used in this way, so it's very unique and I really liked it. Of course, sometimes the controls felt a bit hard to manage, but it's understandable since I'm a box haha

Amazing work dude, this is a really fun game :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your input! Particularly that you pointed out, 'it's understandable since I'm a box' that really highlighted something important for me. <3

Cool game, I fould the visuals of the small box and the larger box ontop made me instantly understand how the game worked without a tutorial! It takes a bit too long to accelerate though, but I like the graphics and its very polished, the box braking feels really satisfying :) Nice title

Can't say I've ever played as a crate. Neat platformer, I just wish the controls were less floaty :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Since the controls were the biggest, if not the most important, part of the development. did you mean with "I just wish the controls were less floaty :)" the controls overall or specifically the jump? If you can remember?

Submitted(+1)

Yes,  the jump :)
