How does the game fit the theme?
Player must time different in game events to allow a character to reach the end of level. Everything have to be timed perfectly and nothing can go wrong, or he will not reach the goal.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Music. I used royalty free music from One Man Symphony.

Hello,

This is a great game, though I admit I haven't been able to get past the second level. I might actually be too dumb for this game but I enjoyed trying.

Maybe the game can do better in form of a tutorial or something. But really cool concept.

Developer

Hi, actually, the first 3 levels are the tutorial, there's only one real level. Planned on adding more but run out of time, so it is what it is :-) Thanks for playing :-)

Oh dang I am super dumb I can't even finish the tutorials hahaha

Such a cool concept and ties with the theme well! I would love to see more levels if you continue with this game after the jam!

I really enjoyed the clever setup, that you have to plan every move perfectly to guide the NPC to safety. The precision of controlling platforms and doors is made nice, though I found myself wishing for a speed-up option to cut down on the waiting time. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, the speed up option gets requested a lot :-) Thanks for playing!

Sweet concept ! Loved the fact that you have to be precise! Good job man

Really clever concept! I think it would benefit from some speed control.

Neat concept! One small change to make is when the player dies, the game doesn't restart on its own, you should add a restart button perhaps?

Nice work.

Developer

The PLAY button changes to STOP button when you run the game. Pressing the STOP button will reset the level, but keep your planned actions in the timeline. I guess I could have communicated that more clearly :-)

I completed it. It's considered an easy puzzle but I enjoyed it a lot! I felt a little bit impatient during the trial & error process, and I am missing some "aha!" moment. But this mechanic is very interesting and I was actually looking forward for more levels! Good job

Developer

Thank you, the plan was to add more levels and also obstacles, but I ran out of time, so it is what it is  :-(

very cool idea with timeline

really fun game premise, would be neat to play an expanded version with more mechanics, agree with other comments here about the speed but besides that solid

Nice puzzle Game, tho I think it's a bit slow. Pretty neat idea :)

Nice puzzle game.

I would love to play more levels :)

Music is nice. I would add some SFX when you win or lose.

I like the art :)

I love the mechanics of the game! Funny thing, my game has a nearly identical concept of planning ahead using a timeline. I guess we both had similar idea for the theme :)

Submitted(+1)

i would like more level, the mechanics is a great idea. well done!

Well thought through game idea, nice job. Two suggestions: I think the music is a bit unfitting, maybe replace it with something that has more energy or action in it. Also definitely implement a speed up button. You spend a bit much time waiting in this game. Other than that, great execution and congratulations on the cool project! I'd appreciate if you also checked out my submission ;)

Developer

Thanks for the great feedback. I wanted action music for the running phase of the game, but sadly, I had no time during the weekend so I had to submit the game as it was. Speed up button would be nice, but there really is only one level, if I don't count the tutorials, so I decided it was not needed, maybe wrongly. Thanks for playing!

A nice and short puzzle game, with an interesting mechanic I haven't seen before

Cool mechanic, and I loved the smashed animation, it reminded me of the one we made for our game :D.
