A small yet very engaging game about managing a nuclear reactor. I love how the game starts slow so the player can familiarize themselves with all the mechanic, but the quickly ramped up the speed and the challenge, you really did well on the overall balance of the game. Great Job!

Developer

Thanks a lot :] I appreciate it

I like the concept more than other similar games for this jam, I'd like it being more refined gameplay wise tho. More buttons going off at once at the start, maybe lives? Regardless of that, I enjoyed myself with this one, thank you for the entry!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! :] I decided not to add lives so the theme fits better (Nothing can go wrong) & it starts out slow so the player can get used to it, but i appreciate your comment :]

Ah, I see, makes sense ^^

Nice little game! My Highscore was around 12k, my fingers weren't quick enough for more x)

Simple but very fun to play! A little hard to get what I had to do at the start, as I just started pressing random buttons. But I had a good time! Would appreciate if you'd play and rate my game aswell! Have a nice day!

Fun little game! Wish it told me that i had to actually wait for malfunctions to start first cause at the start i just kept randomly clicking and losing haha

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, that seems to be a common issue, I should've thought about that :/

I loved the concept! Once I understood what I had to do after trying many times it was interesting and fun. I do think the UI could be better so its more understandable what you have to click on or not, but otherwise it is a fun small experience. Good entry.

I'd also appreciate if you could try and rate my submission aswell . :)

Thanks for the feedback :]

Nice simple game, good job ! I was not understanding at the beginning that you musn't not click the center X button, but when mecanics where understood it was fun ! Made 7730 of score. Would have appreciated that exact click zone gets highlighted. Ex: I was clicking on the red lights of buttons on the bottom right instead of the real button.

Developer

Thanks! I should've thought about that earlier

Very fun, I think it is like working in a real powerplant. I've seen simmilar games but this is well executed!

Developer

Thanks a lot :]

Great theme and very well executed!
Very intuitive after clicking buttons a couple of times and failing instantly :D
Fun gameplay loop for a quick play

Developer

Thanks a lot for the feedback :]

I got to about 8136 for my highscore, its nice, short and easy to understand. There is a few things I think can improve but nothing worth mentioning really. Well Done!

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Summary:

Overall good use of the theme. Definitely see the nothing could go wrong being used here. I felt the game could add more interactions not just buttons. great job.

What i want to see:

  • I'd like to see more visual indication of the game on what is happening. Maybe a meter system.
  • Losing end game cutscene and winning end game cutscene.

what i think can improve:

  • Ui buttons could be more differentiated between the background.
  • Fine polishing the artstyle
  • Sound button inside the game itself. (not just the title screen).
Developer

Thanks for the feedback. If I had spent less time procrastinating I'd probably had made an actual background, indicators of what's a button and what's a light etc. But at least I now know to work more and slack off less.

Cool concept, my advice would be to add different things to interact with, maybe you have to spin the valve or drag to switch levers, good job!

Developer

True, I could've added some variation, but oh well

Really cool game. I also started to click random buttons and went game over all the time. But after I waited, the real game started. It is fun but it is sometimes confusing what you need to press. For example the red light on the bottom right lights up but you need to press the button besides it. Or the yellow nuclear thing at the top right.

Developer

Ahh had a feeling the nuclear thing could be confusing

No insult to your game, but I spent a good few minutes immediately clicking random buttons when the game started. It was only after I read the description that I realized I needed to wait for them to light up. Good game.

Developer

Haha, well, I should've probably thought of that earlier

Got score of 14183. Playing this made me realize I need to brush up on my OSU reflexes before applying to a job at a nuclear power plant.
Overall, very neat little game!

Developer

Awesome, thanks
