How does your game fit the theme?
It's a frantic hell in the retail world when Black Friday hits. But not only that as an employee you never know when a new wave of customers with absurd problems will want to see the manager
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the assets were made from scratch

GREAT gamefeel! I can really feel every hit. When you pick up heavy objects it also feel more impactfull and you move slower... These are the most important things in a game like this. The game lags out a bit and I couldn't completed because of that but I'm sure its because the web build. Really nice work, I really like it
Pretty cool although it kinda lags out a bit
Yeah that I couldn't fix that before the deadline, that's why I provided the download if the lagging was too much of an issue. But it's gonna be fixed post jam
cool game, it's a pity it lags on firefox. Pretty awesome you made everything from scratch
Yeah sadly couldn't figure it out befor the rating period but thankfully it will be fixed for the post jam version :D
Nice, it was a bit hard in the beginning specially because I ran straight towards the arrow. However, after reading your tip about going slower, it was more manageable. Quiet addictive not going to lie, great job!
Cool art! Liked the humor and all different kinds of weapon you can choose! I wish there was some music playing in the background.. But I sill had a lot of fun!
there actually was some music but it played quietly to not obscure gameplay important sfx
Sorry, my bad: my volume was too low.. Turned it up, replayed - enjoyed even more XD
Cool game concept! the web version was a bit laggy for me in firefox.
yeah that's why I gave the warning in the discription, chromium based browsers, but a download was recommended
Nice one :D
Effect of human wave is cool and fun to slay those and throw items into them.
Art is really nice
I hope you will manage to optimize the web build for this game after the game jam as it is really fun to play
I'll probably redo enemy object tree as the preformance issues seem to be caused by first time rendering the sprites
Amazing little game here!
The graphics are very good and the animation is amazing, the customers diving and getting KO'd is just gold. Extremely fun and simple, great formula... first time I played this and just ran quickly and rapidly attracted a giant horde I started laughing uncontrollably... it's just too good! And then I bowled through like 8 people with like a brick or something. Also good sounds!
This is a very solid game!
Hectic! I found it easy to progress if I took it slow - until an alarm rang. I was surprised how long I survived when the swarm came after me, managed to even beat them and get my PolyStation 5, then another alarm rang... Fun game though! Nice art and the music complements the gameplay.
Very fun beat-em-up! What did you use for pathfinding?
Just the standard godot pathfinding, tho it's kind of scuffed with me doing it for the first time especially with a runtime baked mesh.
That's a fun brawl. Nice, satisfying swings. Especially enjoyed trying out all the weapons. At first, I assumed they were all the same with different art, but it quickly became clear they had their own range, damage, durability, move speed. That allowed for some strategy to leave good weapons for the journey back. Well done there.
The randomization at times seemed unfair. Once I had a double alarm! Sometimes I had to walk pretty far to find a new weapon and those zombies don't wait. So many times I thought I had enough life to see the end and was hit with something I just couldn't handle. Still, was fun to try over and over. I did make it in the end, thanks to my trusty weights.
I though I fixed that double alarm bug damn I guess I'll need to look through hoard code again :V
lol very nice game, had a lot of fun running around and defending myself with anything i come across, wish the weapon durability was based on the amount of swings and not the amount of shoppers hit because if they come at you in group the weapon does not last long :)
I might do a durability loss limit per hit but I don't want to compleatly take away the durability loss based on count as it would probably lead to making fighting singular customers too punishing as they would take away the same amount of durability as a hoard and making the player wait for enemies to line up for big multi hits would kind of take away from the feeling of power that having a weapon brings and make the player constantly wait.
you are right, the gameplay is perfect as is, i just found myself picking up a weapon hitting 2-3 times and in need for another one, it was not the feeling of power i had when only 1 or 2 zombieshoppers came at me, the first time i was like aaaaaah need to find another one and then i was dead :D
It's a very fun game haha. I liked the humor and the combat is quite entertaining. The detail of the polystation made me laugh haha.
But I must say that I missed a background musical melody that could accompany the game experience. but apart from that it is a very complete project. great job! :D
Fantastic! Addicting loop, great sound and graphics. Easy to pick up!
It is a pity that there is no congratulatory inscription after the successful completion of this crazy mission. The game is addictive, simple but very nicely done from the art style to the sound effects. I didn't find any critical bugs or errors, but the arrow after collecting the item doesn't immediately point to the exit + once there was no scale to fill and after approaching the shelf I immediately got the exit arrow. Overall, this is a very cool project, great job!
Yeah I accidentally left the code to change the marker after the code to spawn a hoard. But I'm glad you enjoyed it
Very juicy feedback, real definition of won't do irl, but would crave to do in a game!
The game is super satisfy to play with. The mechanics is simple and easy to pick up too!!
Super juicy game with its sound effects, and the whole concept itself is really fun. I kinda wish the music was more intense and louder. Still, really fun game. Well done!
Great game! It was a really nice experience to go from knowing nothing and dying quickly to customer hordes to gaining favorite weapons that I would search for around the map (looking at you fire extinguisher) and making it further ad further. It is definitely a challenging game but the reward is there and the addicting loop that keeps you retrying. I think it would be nice if there were some variation in customer types, like some moving faster or taking more hits to kill (maybe certain weapons are better for certain types) to increase further the different strategies possible. Overall had an awesome time playing and I loved the polish on everything, sounds, art, animation, and of course the feel of movement and attacking. Super nice job!
Funny experience. I love the customer's jumping animation XD. Fun Fact. I don't know why but i play on a surface pro and when i press my volume up/down button the character moves hahah.
I don't know what black magic your laptop is doing but I always thought volume up wasn't W :V but thanks for playing either way :D
hahaha. I think my laptop is a mimic O_O
