I Had fun playing and appreciated the weights of different weapons. I couldn’t figure out how to win, I would make it to where the arrow was pointing and hold E but then hordes of zombies would always kill me haha. Pretty cool concept though with the multiple weapons

Yeah the game can be brutal to those that don't have much expirience with the more fast paced arcady games, I probably could have dropped the difficulty even a little more for the purposes of the jam.

Really fun to play it. And I like the attention to details like: different SFX for every weapon, weapons still losing their durability when you through them at enemies and also a peak to Messi's regular day lol.

Was able to play on web fine. Throwing felt really powerful and satisfying, kiting the zombies was the most effective although not completely overpowered. Appreciated the small variances between weapons, I think frying pan was the best one. Though I think the weapons should have larger variances to feel more distinct. Changes to swing rate, damage, knockback, reach etc.

Actually most of the varitions are there (exept for reach which I didn't have time to implement). Barbells and Fire extinguisher both are some of the slowest weapons with swing speed almost halfed, all weapons have different damage stats but because enemies are killed in 3 hits by most weapons it's hard to notice the smaller damage changes unless you already softrned them up, but the nokia on a stick takes around 5 hits to kill, while the knife deals with enemis in just 2 hits

Probably the most difficult game I played this jam, lol. The controls are extremely fluid despite their simplicity and I love it. It would be sick to see speedruns of this, honestly! I wasn't timing myself but I think that the run I actually beat it was really fast

This game did a really good job at making me want to finish it. It was super satisfying to kill the enemies, and I loved how different weapons had different properties (knife taking 2 hits to kill, barbell slowing you down). Sometimes I felt like I was getting unlucky with not finding a weapon for multiple aisles, but I managed. Great game!

Very satisfying game! I'm like 80% sure customers do that in real life. If I could change one thing I'd add a few more objective spots and make it so that reaching objectives lets you pick up upgrades.

The throw mechanic is the goat..It feels so smooth and clears the group behind you. Couldn't get to the end but had a lot of fun while I was playing.

We could maybe have some speedboosters kinda mechanic making it faster to move temporarily to escape a horde or something like that. Apart from that no complaints.

Fun game! A few things to think on I wish there was different effect that some of the weapons had like for wooden weapons maybe have them shrink the more you use them as an example would make having the different weapons' types feel really good. Another thing that would make the game feel great is maybe some music during the "storm" yeah the foot steps feel great making seem like a horde is coming but a bit of music would bring it up a level!!

I actually was planing to reuse some custom effect code from a project I was working on but I was way too tired on the last day to implement it, also yeah a vertical shift into some hoard music would be cool but alas I didn't have an actuall composer to do more tracks nor did I have a way of relaiably checking if the hoard is no longer a danger to the player with the awful pathfinding sometimes even getting stuck

very tightly designed! i like it. especially like how the different “weapons” had different characteristics such as movespeed, range etc. also, the sound was super crunchy, very well done, i think 90% of the fun of hitting zombie is just the watermelon crushing SFX, it’s so good :D

Very fun game! Well done. Love the pixel art graphics in their simplicity. Really enjoyed the variety of weapons and how they handle differently. It's hard to tell what the final goal is but didn't matter much since it was so fun smashing mindless shoppers. Great job!

The game is fun, minimalist (I love it), enjoyable, without bugs, and has good art! Well done!

I didn't get the jam theme, and when I got to the endpoint I didn't understand if it started again or it was a new one

The theme interpratiation was both that stores are generaly pretty calm untill there are big sales happening and also the general gameplay is calm when there are like 2 or 3 customers on you but either when you run through a lot of them or an alarm starts blaring dealing with a bigger hoard can be a frantic chasing of new weapons and trying to keep the enemies at bay.


The game ends once you go back to the entrance and escape which can be done by just holding the "E" key on the "poly station 5" stand and then following the arrow back to the entrance which unceremoniously throws you back to the main menu.

The gameplay is satisfying, especially the throwing mechanic. It's always fun when you can clear a group of enemies with a well-placed throw. One small suggestion would be to balance the difficulty a bit more, as I felt overwhelmed at times, but overall it’s a solid and enjoyable game!

What a fun and enjoyable game. The sounds SFX and music are really good. This reminds a bit of my game. Great submission man :D
