How does your game fit the theme?
This is a Puzzle and Stealth game about a Ninja and the Secret Temple.
The temple hold secrets and Magical Artifacts inside, but you, the player, believe them to be myths, seeing as no one was able to Escape the temples and save the newfound knowledge.
Will you be able to escape the temple full of magic and secrets?

The art and music are top notch! Some suggestions would be:
1. Acceleration. When the player starts holding down a movement button, the character should start off slow and speed up over time. Without it, the player moves too fast to be precise.
2. Smaller hitboxes. Barely touching a spike kills you, creating a hitbox smaller than the sprite would make the game feel better.
Other than that it's pretty good!
The art and music are nice and the gameplay is good. I think the camera should be more ahead of the direction the character is facing. Also during the level where I have to control two characters, the character above teleported too far right that I keep dying because I can't see it anymore. Also, the spikes need a brighter color because it's difficult to notice.

I did die a few times because I couldn't look down but other than that its great! :D
Yeah the camera was annoying to setup, I'm continuing the game and I fixed the spikes and the camera, I'll release a post jam version soon which will be focused on stealth, probably in a month or 2
There was some fun puzzle-solving in this one! Splitting into two people was unique.
Some of the puzzles felt kind of random like dying to spikes off screen.
The platforming camera lags behind the character's vertical position when jumping which is normally nice but it should make sure to show the player the ground on their way back down. Blind jumps aren't super fun.
The spikes could be made more visible and attention-grabbing. I died to them a lot because I didn't know they were there.
The doors just kind of stood without any kind of building behind them looked kind of strange. It doesn't affect gameplay but might have been nice from an art perspective to have buildings behind them and maybe have doors with connected functionality on connected buildings in the background.
This game's got a lot of charm, and I really dug the music. The platforming felt just right.

Great game with good pacing and astonishing sound! I loved the music, the art and the last puzzle. The perspective of playing two characters at the same time is rarely done good. So good job! Keep up the work and make a bigger game!

Spikes were camouflaged...I ran straight and just died like 5 times...after that I noticed there were spikes.
Overall the game was fun.

Interesting game! Fit the theme for sure.
I got f*d by the camera going to high a couple of times. The spikes you know about, that was the hardest level. Also one camera had me do a leap of faith which did not feel very nice when you just forced me to have a big focus on where I were stepping.
You got something here. The art, sound and use of text is great. I did not have much fun tho.
Sorry that you had no fun, I hope checkpoints and better camera and visible spikes would help after we update the game, unfortunately we had no time to work on that during the jam

Nice little platformer ^^. The controls are enjoyable, and I like the concept! At first, I thought "okay, you just visually replaced buttons by doors, that's a bit lazy", but then I enjoyed the hiding mechanics and the "splitting" sections, it gave more meaning to the theme =).
The graphics are good, even if I feel like the story you are telling us is very different than the game I'm playing... My guy doesn't look like a ninja, and this place doesn't look like a temple ^^'. The music is very enjoyable and fits your universe perfectly, great job on that!
You already know about the size of the spikes, but you also need to change some colors ^^. A very basic way to avoid player misunderstanding is to use the red color for all the "bad" things. I would have loved a little red-ish tint on the camera's vision cone and the spikes, to make things more clear ^^.
The level design is nice, but I would have loved some checkpoints, or shorter levels ^^'. There is a lot of "walking for nothing", which is a bit frustrating.
So overall, that's a really nice entry ^^. It's a little bit rough around the edges, which is normal for a 7-days jam game, but I enjoyed paying it, so congratulations =)!
The door mechanic was really innovative and I loved the theme. It was hard to see the spikes though.

The lack of sound effects really hurt this game imo. Even bad ones would be better none at all
Yeah, I was mainly focusing on the main soundtrack that I had no time to make SFX, there are a few but definitely not enough, sorry for that!
