How does your game fit the theme?
The theme was "What's behind the door?" so I made a game where you get teleported (through a doorway/portal thing) into a door themed world, and behind those doors is some kind of magic force or something that moves them.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, with the exception of the main menu and end screen music, which were made by my little brother.

the art was very nice, hard to explain why i like it so much but it might be that the line/ color were very clearly defined. the game was definitely harder than i thought it would be, but it was still very nice.
I enjoyed this quite a bit. The precision platforming with challenging in parts, but the cute character made it fun to start over and play again. Art and animation are top notch!

The level desing could be more clean in my opinion, there are a lot of unnecessary elements. Also I found the doors out of place, their behavior does not suits them very well. They have a really cool animation, though.

I remember selecting "interpolation" on a rigidbody before to fix the jittery behavior for unity physics objects. Not certain if that will help, but hope it does.

Was there a specific object in the game that was behaving jittery? I’d like to fix it after the jam if it’s causing issues.
The player character's head was the only thing I noticed that was jittery or perhaps blurry is a better word for it. Only happens when moving the character. The physics interpolation suggestion might be the wrong call. It could just be that the movement animation on the head is not aligned for a few frames, creating a stutter/blur effect. I'm just guessing though.
Awesome game! The visuals are great! The gameplay is fun! I think there could be some more sound effects though. Also a very unique way to use doors :D Good job!
A short, cute platformer. I enjoyed the drawn art with its charming animations and vibrant colors. The animation of the moving doors is fun. The original music, while short, was decent. The main character controls well. In the last level, I liked how you can jump between the two moving doors to get over the pit of spikes.
The absurd number of birds at the end was funny. However, I kept getting stuck when the birds kept pushing me under them. I had to keep jumping around a lot to get myself through the swarms and into the ending door.
Overall, a short but sweet game. Nice job!
Charming little platformer! Nice jam entry :)
The main character might be the cutest thing I saw in a long time. The art looks great overall. The level design was a bit confusing from time to time and the music looped a bit too fast. Other then that a fun and cute game.

This is really cool! From what I read and played it sounds like you spent a lot of time on art in this one. And it shows! The game is beautiful. It is a pretty standard platformer, so it would've been cool to see some innovation, but it controls and plays really nice. Great job for doing all of this in a one man team!
