I liked this game ! I found interesting that you don't directly know how much coin is too much ! This adds a kind of pressure.
One downside would be that sometimes would think that the wall would stop you so you can't pass by taking only one coin, but finally if you go against the wall it hides you somehow. Overall it was really fun to play !
You were supposed to be "behind" that wall somehow, so you could go a bit under it, or that was my logic at least, but yeah it was a little weird.
Thanks!
nice game, its beautiful, rate mine

Hmm....I'm a bit conflicted with this one. On the one hand the simple mechanic and rules of the game makes it a fun challenge but on the other the immediate when you collect too many coins without even knowing "how much is too much" plus the ice-physics makes it not as enjoyable to me. At first I thought the 3 gray dots at the top-left represents my limit but as soon as I collect two in game over which was rather annoying when I collected something because my characters was drifting. :D Perhaps the ice physics is part of the difficulty of the game and that's fine but maybe representing how much is too much like by a meter or something might help. I also wanted the ability to play risky and take paths that might end up making me be "greedy" but since that is game over the game feels more like "you have two lives, don't hit the spikes" if you know what I mean.
Still, I think the game is great entry, the graphics are fun, and it has a fun "character" to it.
I also thought that some way to know how many coins you could collect in each level would be nice, but I didn't know how to make it in a way that went well with the game. Like, I wanted the player to figure out a way to grab the least amount possible, not "the amount that shows on the counter", it's a bit hard to explain and I don't know if it makes much sense. And I didn't have time for that anyway lol.
The ice physics were intentional though, it was a big part of the difficulty, otherwise as soon as you know the path it becomes quite easy, which would make all the levels where you can't grab any coins (mainly the last and supposedly (and hopefully) hardest one) pretty easy. And also being able to grab more coins than the bare minimum makes it much easier I think. You do have two lives, but you're forced to use them all, at specific places, no more, no less. But yeah that might have needed more work, it does feel frustrating and unsatisfying at times, but it's a jam game after all.
And as for the three dots, I didn't realize at all it looked like a counter until my brother played it after the jam ended, now I can't unsee it lol. It was supposed to be one of those typical menu buttons, it opens the menu to restart and reset the whole game, but they do look a lot like coins.
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
I get it and I figured as much. I suppose slowing them down might be too cliche so I can see the dilemma. Lol, now I know it's a menu. Still, solid entry in my book. :)
That was fun, the story with the boss is dope ! Consider playing my game :D
Such a great game. Loved it. Gave me so much anxiety, tbh I'm so glad there's no more levels. Only thing I didn't really like about the game was that the coin animation made me kinda dizzy, not sure how you would fix that though because it probably wouldn't look good without it. Overall 10/10, good job
Would be nice if you could check out my game too
I thought maybe making them not animate at the exact same time so that it doesn't look at times as if the level itself was moving, but I'm not sure how to do that. But thanks!
I did
Flappy bird levels of anxiety
I love it
Lmao thanks!
I enjoyed this very much. the floaty/drifty movement was fun to master. I wish there was a counter that told you how many coins you were allowed per level. Other than that, it's great, a fun idea, and well implemented.
I considered the counter but I didn't quite know how to implement it in a way that worked well with the rest of the game, and didn't have time for it anyway. Thanks for the feedback!
That was very interesting! I loved the gameplay, not too simple but not too hard! too bad there was no music
Thanks! I would've loved to add music but at first I didn't know we could use other resources until after the jam, and who knows if I would've had time to find a good one and implement it anyway

Nice game. I love the graphics and detail. I would be really happy if you would play my game.
Thanks! And I did!
This one was pretty cool! I enjoyed the concept of NOT getting coins. That's an interesting twist and it was sometimes hard to resist grabbing them all. It would be nice to know how many coins I could get on each level - maybe a counter or something would help!
Thanks! I also thought that'd be a good idea but I kinda wanted the player to think "I have to grab as little coins as possible" and not "I can grab only 2 coins" if that makes any sense, but yeah some way to know would have been good
Maybe a score system rather than a hard gameover would help the player do their best! They would also avoid the "I can grab only 2 coins" feeling?
Anyway, this game felt great! The roomba controls were excellent! I hope you will try my game too!
I think that might make it a bit too easy, but it's certainly something I'd have in mind if I continue with it after the jam, so thanks! And I tried yours too!
good game.but a bad ending.maybe a room of coins.
Yeah ik, I didn't have much time to make a great ending
Don't be greedy, abstain from the temptations
I hate when a tiny touch ruins all my progress lol
Well done!
Not bad, just wish that the last floor was full of coins we're allowed to collect to satisfy my need for coins.
That's a good idea, but I'm not sure how I'd fit it with the story, well tbh I kinda rushed the ending because of the time, and didn't quite know what to do with it...
Don't succumb to the temptation, greed will take you nowhere
The sound was a little harsh but you did a really good job of flipping the way a game really works. Good job!
Yeah I know, I'm not really good with audio and didn't know we could used other's sounds until after it ended, but yeah.
Thanks!
It was interesting to play. Great idea and good mechanics! Good job!
Please check my game as well ;)
Thanks!
I did
the gameplay is really frustrating and fun good job!

Very unique use of the theme, movement felt a bit slippery but that could be intentional to make it more difficult. Well done!
Yeah the movement was intentional, it would be too easy otherwise. Thanks!
