I love the artwork and the music is pretty good, but it needs some more game-play. The controls were a little bit difficult to figure out, and the invisible wall was annoying. I love the little cut-scene at the beginning.
I loved the graphics of this game! It's really cute and polished!
The gameplay was nice too, I really enjoyed this game!
I couldn't go very far sometimes because of a invisible wall that kept me from going forward, so I got caught by the deadly purple wall...
But overall it was a good game! ^^
A cute little game. I really liked the art, and how the trees do their cute popping thing. As the other commenters have mentioned, it takes some figuring out what exactly you have to do (although there is this great visual descrption of the controls on the starting screen, it's unfortunately not enough), and the player character gets stuck at some point, around 50 points or so.
PS How did you do the art? I wanted to try doing something similar, but I don't quite understand the uhh how do you call it... process? pipeline? workflow? I mean, is it vector or raster graphics? Is it drawn in Illustrator, saved as png files and then imported into Unity? Or what?
PPS Please check out my game ^_^ It also has the 'deadline is chasing you' thing
Awesome art, awesome music, it needs more gameplay though.
Thanks Alex! yeah gameplay needs some more work
Really great visuals in this game! A slight parallax effect to background would bring it to the next level! I like the gameplay and the mechanic you've choosen (inventory style equipment) makes it easy to scale the difficulty by adding new tools, unlike games where you just have like 4 arrow key directions.
Unfortunatly the game is really easy to beat in a minute because you can't move any further after 40-44 points.
Thanks so much gaschd, i agree about parallax, totally forgot about it. Yeah gameplay became a really big problem for me, but i will try to fix it. Thanks again :)
This game is very cute. I like the music and the visuals (even though tilting my head to see the enemies better was a bit difficult). Some notes:
- I think you should add an event to when an enemy dies. Not a lot - just a slight shake, a particle burst, a sound... Something to give the player feedback.
- Maybe make more enemies? There are only "programming bots" and "art bots". What about "music bots", "idea bots", "level design bots", etc.?
- The map seems to end at some point (when I reached 46 points I couldn't walk forward anymore. I guess you put a collider in the way to prevent the player from reaching the end of the sprite, but that way there is no way to get any further and the purple line just eats you).
- Add info! You need a credits window, an explanation window, maybe settings.
That's what I think :) I enjoyed!
LordCloud thanks a lot for your constructive feedback and ideas how to develop game. I will do that for sure, thanks again
I love the visuals and music but the fact that the layout ends is kind of a bummer
Thanks a lot Sprazzal, i focused on art too much, so i didn't had time to made proper layout
Very lovely art style! Impressive for a week project!
Thanks a lot, really nice to hear!
The grafics is well made but there are few type of enemys.
It's also hard to understand how to use the tools and to get used to the controls!
Thanks for your comment, i agree with the part of understanding the game controls. Thanks :)
Awesome game! I love the graphics and the music. Needed some time to figure out the controls but after that - smooth experience! Did you write the music and draw everything on your own?
Thanks a lot, yeah controls was the hardest part to figure out how to show to people. Yeah everything you see and hear, i made it. Thanks again :)
