Made a web version of the game with some critical bugfixes if you still want to give it a try.

Good job, the game looks great. It's challenging and creative. I like that you design the levels in a way, that the player has a choice which mechanic he want to unlock next. 

It took some time to figure out how to enter the commands in the beginning because the input thing was not in focus and it looked deactived  + there was this overlay.

Top 3 of the art + animations in this game jam. Innovation and theme are on point. Really liked it to unlock all the parts. It would be cool if the assembly of the parts was a bit more difficult, maybe by having to manage ressources or maintaining an energy flow. But your game already has tons of content for just a week. Thanks for sharing your game.

Your post-mortem is also a good read. 

One thing that bothered me: If you leftclick on menu items while having a machine selected places the object in the world. I tried to remember the hint from the beginning to use ESC/right click to deselect it, but it happend anyway.

Thanks for your feedback. Yeah ingame instructions or designing the game more self-explainatory is way better than just some on the game page. I'll definetly do this in my next jam. It's my first jam and as a dev of a game you think everything is obvious :D I'm glad that you enjoyed the game!

Nice one! I needed some time to figure out what to do, the instructions on the gamepage weren't as helpful because the boxes where you put in the sprites didnt show up for the player and the enemy at first, only after a reload of the game in fullscreen. But then it was fun! It would be awesome to to save and load your own creations. But I understand that the time boundries of game jam make it hard to implement such things. The art is good. I kinda dislike the music, it does not really match the theme of the game and it could be more relaxing (music that the game patch-it-later chose, would fit much better imho).

Some suggestions if you want to continue your work on this project after the jam: 

- Players, enemies and weapons should be permanent in your level and don't vanish after one playtrough.

- Make placed objects deletable one-by-one and not just the entire level.

- Make a semi-transparent preview of the object you want to place, so the player can detect overlaps before they place it.

First of all thanks for featuring my game on your stream. Unfortunatly I was in the lands of sweet dreams so I couldn't answer your questions about the mechanic while you played it. It's so important to get feedback about the struggle to understand the mechanics in the short period of playtime. The only person playtesting it besides me got real time instructions from me. I guess I'll change my testing routine for the second jam I'll participate :D I've added some instructions to the gamepage to make the first steps more obvious.

Yes I was thinking about making menus and stuff obsolete by adding code-functions besides the codelines in the world you use to move around, so a stop function would have been possible. Or the movement speed should fade much faster, with a higher initial speed so it's easier to navigate. Your idea you mentioned on the stream (looking for nearby codelines with the cursor) is also really good.

Great polished game, it's really challenging! I love the art, this is an excellent clean style. A lot of content for just one week. Your music choice is very good. It has a lot of potential for being a success as a android/iOS puzzle game, reminds me a bit of cut the rope.

It would be cool if you get squashed by moving tiles rather than falling through all tiles. One thing I noticed is that the difficulty of some levels are not in order, f.e. 2-4 is much easier than 2-3, but thats just my opinion. Enjoyed it!

That's a really neat game! You nailed the theme of the jam 100%. Nice visuals, very clean. Matching music choice! I enjoyed figuring out how to beat certain combinations of obstacles like red tower + a higher platform afterwards. But some points have insane difficulty (movement + the triangle tower shooting at you), even if you utilize all commands. A fast-input mode (no enter key necessary) would make it a bit easier to concat all commands you need. Only got a score of 99, but I'll come back and beat it for a 3 digit highscore :D

Some issues i've encountered (in case you want to continue to work on the game):
- The menu says "Start" and "Restart" so I thought I have to type it with the first letter uppercase. You should either rename them to "start" and "restart" or accept capital letters in the input.
- In the highscore screen, the game gets really slow and demands 100% GPU after a few minutes. Maybe you forgot to kill instance of your prefabs/objects?
- In the highscore screen, the second and third value are not saved properly and display the current score.
- The "@"-Coins can spawn under the tiles

The atmosphere generated by the music and the art is really tycoonish. I like it! 100% theme.

In my first game I have lots of parameters I have to play for like Graphics, Music... but all other games only have "performance". Is it a bug? I can barely survive with the income I get from it :D

Very cool game! I love these semi idle/clicker games! Great art and effects and a good implementation of the theme "Game Dev".

Minor notes: I have no idea how to get "Game Builds" to release a game, I only have beta builds so I can't get the last item. Fullscreen does not work for me on firefox (cursor was stuck to the top left).

Great complete storytelling game! Nice artwork and music. Played both ends unintentionally :). I really enjoyed it, altough the first two minutes were frustrating because I didn't know what to do so I clicked on everythink and nothing happend :D

Really great visuals in this game! A slight parallax effect to background would bring it to the next level! I like the gameplay and the mechanic you've choosen (inventory style equipment) makes it easy to scale the difficulty by adding new tools, unlike games where you just have like 4 arrow key directions.

Unfortunatly the game is really easy to beat in a minute because you can't move any further after 40-44 points.

Great level creator! Matches the theme 100%. I like how the blocks merge perfectly if you put them together. The menus and the font is good. I'd love to have some kind of trap (trapdoors, spikes, fire) to make it more challenging. A fullscreen support would be nice, since the game-window is too small on full hd displays.

The only thing that bothered me was the size of the character. It seemed like a 1-blockish-width/height dude but he needs two blocks and cant fall through a single missing tile.

Minor bug: I couldn't use the letter "Z" (for "MAZE") in the save game.

That's a really polished game. I love the stunning graphics, the direct feedback you get from your actions, the secret rooms, the different themes and mechanics in a single game. No idea how you did this in just a week. I enjoy the moment when you meet that game character celebrity *spoiler free*.

My WebGL crashed when I dashed into another level but I can't reproduce that bug.

I love the spaceship! Every detail is great, f. e. the flames or that you have boosters for all 8 directions, not only 4. I like the background.  The chosen audio is good.

I know there are instructions in the screenshots but I think you can make the game a bit more self-explanatory -> f.e. yellow enemies for the yellow gun.

Some QoL features (autorestart, not flying of the screen) are missing but a good outcome for a jam game!

I really enjoy the visual style of the game! It get's more difficult really fast which is good. I'd make the difficulty dependend on the progress bar, so it gets easier again after you missed some symbols. The audio you chose was good, but the high volume on the beep-soundeffect is a bit distracting.
