Thank you so much for the kind words, and for some great advice, too! We're glad you liked the game.

We're planning on polishing the game some more and fixing the bugs. Might release an updated version soon, and your tips will definetly come in handy.

For some levels I found that sketching out the level layout on a piece of paper was very helpful for my poor, 3D brain. Not too difficult, but very interesting. I love the idea of multiple dimensions and moving between them, though it always really confuses me.

I did feel like the game was missing some juice - particles, more sound effects, etc. Other than that, great job!

One of the best game of this jam, but also somehow the worst one.

Very polished, great gameplay, and I love the death sound effect (well, I had to. It was playing pretty much constantly for me).

Well done!

This is a really awesome idea. The last two levels bugged out for me so I wasn't able to move, but apart from that it was great.

Things to improve: Game juice. The screen shake when enemies die is nice, but not enough. More music (maybe different themes for pawn/knight/bishop), more sound effect, more particles.

Other than that, this is a really impressive game to finish in 48 hours. Well done! I'd like to play more of this.

Seriously the best game I've played so far in this jam. It was sooooo fun. The music, the visuals, the difficulty (aaaarghhh). What an experience. I want a sequel, or a prequel for why the poor fella doesn't care. And more levels. And more weapons? And a level builder. Please please.

Good luck!

Amazing as usual. The sprites are so cute and full of life, and the extra details everywhere (sounds, interactions with the player, hidden pathways, etc.) add so much to the experience. I'm currently looking for the inspiring flower, but I keep getting distracted by all the secrets there are in the map.

The brushes upgrades seem to be resetting when changing locations. I guess the information about them isn't shared between the scenes. But that's totally fine, I feel like a bigger brush would make the game too easy.

I really liked the music and the visuals (I'm a sucker for pixel art). The idea is also very nice, and the controls are confusing but in a good way (I was pressing the wrong direction in the beginning, but in the end I was rotating and running like crazy).

I do think that the map is a bit empty. The colorful.. clouds (are the clouds?) help to hide that fact, but most of the game is spent walking around. It helps you get used to the controls and enjoy the music and the randomly placed worms (which are adorable), but it gets a little boring after a while.

Apart from that, great game!

This game is very cute. I like the music and the visuals (even though tilting my head to see the enemies better was a bit difficult). Some notes:

- I think you should add an event to when an enemy dies. Not a lot - just a slight shake, a particle burst, a sound... Something to give the player feedback.

- Maybe make more enemies? There are only "programming bots" and "art bots". What about "music bots", "idea bots", "level design bots", etc.?

- The map seems to end at some point (when I reached 46 points I couldn't walk forward anymore. I guess you put a collider in the way to prevent the player from reaching the end of the sprite, but that way there is no way to get any further and the purple line just eats you).

- Add info! You need a credits window, an explanation window, maybe settings.

That's what I think :) I enjoyed!

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME. I really like it, even though it's incredibly difficult. I think you should improve on the visuals and the music, but the core mechanic is strong and intersting. Having to decide quickly what to do is important, and hard to execute, which is just wonderful. I think you should be able to jump just a little further, because a lot of the times I jumped, I couldn't reach the other platform. Maybe powerups are also a good idea to have in the game. Overall I think the game is really fun, hard and fitting the theme :D

I really liked the animations (esspecially the sword swinging and the enemies dying). It's a fun game!

Possible fixes: make the text a little bigger, don't inculde the first cutscene every time you respawn in the first level, introduce more game mechanics in the other levels (you get all the abilities in the first level, and afterwards it feels just like a regular platformer).  But most importantly make the boss level easier, it was too hard for me.

I really enjoyed this game. The puzzles are challenging and well-designed, the interface is easy to use and the visuals are really nice. Incredible.

I'd like to see a version is a) more levels, b) a highscore (for number of turns etc.) c) a level editor and d) obviously more features.

Another file was missing. This time it should be fine. Let me know if there's another problem!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Very challenging, lovely graphics (a little pat on my back right there). I esspecially like the penalties and the glitching effect when you get things wrong. The humor in the description is also great.

THE GAME DOESN'T WORK! I forgot to include the UnityPlayer.dll . You can download it HERE to make the game work, hopefully.

A lot of fun, and I really like the blood splatter. There was a moment when I was surrounded that got me really stressed out xD

A very nice mechanic. I really enjoyed it (this was one of the games I was waiting for, I saw some footage of it during the jam). I think giving the player a limited amount of turns would make it even better.

Very fun. I really enjoyed the fact that the green glue travels faster when it's smaller. The mechanic was not very intuative, but very easy to understand (maybe you could set up a small tutorial, or even just a sentence that explains the mechanic a bit more). Also I think the visuals and sound should have gotten a bit more love (and over all more "game juice" - screen shake etc.)

It's frustrating, it's stressful, it makes me scream.

I absolutely love it.

I really enjoyed your type of humor. Great.
