I liked the different modes. Two things to add would be to make it so the player can start on one of the new modes or make so the player can retry the wave.

Simple and straightforward, real easy to pick up and definitely tons of replay value! Loved the aesthetic and great job matching the music up to the visual style. Could definitely see myself wasting a bunch of time with this one, great entry!
Good game! The bloom effect mixed with the analog style really made it look nice without being overbearing. The gameplay was also a lot of fun; controls felt tight, and the maneuvering around enemies made for some tense levels. Way to go!
I like that you chose to integrate modes as both an alternate approach to gameplay and as difficulty rather than as only one or the other. It helps add some life and uniqueness.
Great job! I really enjoyed your twist on this type of games. When fighting waves and waves of enemies, these modes you implemented keep the game play refreshing and interesting. I also love the choice to keep the designs as simple geometries but then really giving them depth and polish with the neon aesthetic and visual direction. Awesome work!
Fun and clean game! Love the style, though sometimes the cubes spawn near the UI which makes it really hard to see.
Wow, the sound design and visuals are all stellar! Only feedback I have is that sometimes the glowy blocks will spawn inside the words, which makes them harder to see. Other than that, great job!
Awesome gameplay loop, perfect difficulty. The SFX and visuals are superb and add a lot to the experience, very well fitting.
Simple but fun! I only have two little things I would change if you make a post jam build. I would make it so the target square cant spawn on top of the score or the mode. My first play through I think it spawned there and I didn't know how the game worked and thought it was bugged. But after closing the game and relaunching it I saw a square. Then later in the game when it spawned on the score I knew to look there, this is just a minor polish thing. Another idea I have would be to take a mode out of the loop so you never get a duplicate mode. Then when all the modes have been done once bring them all back into rotation again. This could force variety upon the player, but I don't think that it is necessary, the game works well as is. Great solid entry into the jam! I really enjoyed it!
Such a simple and engaging loop, really fits with the clean aesthetic! Only minor criticism would be that the objective being the same colour as the UI elements makes it a bit confusing when they overlap.
The music, sound effects and art are great!
I can see there was a lot of care put into making the game feel fair and once again the presentation is on point. Great work!
I loveeee the simple shape games with lots of visual post processing and glow it just hooks me up for long times, i really enjoyed it and you just nailed the design (colors, fonts and visuals). Loved it!
Really nice game. I especially liked the 80's outrun vibe it had. And the music. Phenomenal.
