Really fun game, you really nailed the movement. Only problem is that you can cheese the game by going to one of the corners, shooting from there, moving to another corner when you're getting shot at, and then repeat the cycle. Maybe add some bumpers on the corners.

Thanks for the feedback. The graphics being too saturated is something that has been pointed out to me a lot from past game jams, yet I always keep the saturation up. Maybe it's just a problem with me, but I don't mind the saturation that much, if at all, that's probably why I keep doing it.

This game surprisingly drained me a lot. I pretty much rushed the last parts of the game just to get it over with. Hopefully I managed to get all of the bugs.

Pushing because I would still like an answer, specifically from an organiser of the jam.

GG

Did you participate in any game jams before?

Position was way better than what I thought it would be to be honest.

I topic I start after every jam I participate in, where everyone replies with GG or good game.

It's called anticipation, excitement, and dramatic effect.

That should be fine.

Yes, on the youtube channel.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it doesn't really help me in the case of if I'm allowed to use it in gdevelop game jams, but I does help me in terms of general use, so thanks for that.

This is a gd.games test build link:

This is a gd.games main game page link:

You can publish a page for your game on gd.games by going to the games dashboard, and setting a link for the game.

Hopefully that should work.

In order to self promote

probably because of how you published your game on gd.games. You added the link of a test build instead of  your games gd.games page.

By Friday, don't know when exactly.

The page where people rate your game.

yes you can on your rating page.

Pushing this because I still want an answer.

Wait until the official results

Starting it early, GG chain.

I wouldn't recommend begging for people to play your game. It makes you look desperate.

I've already rated your game. I also wouldn't recommend begging people to play your game, especially if it's in a topic that has nothing to do with your game.

Also, like I said in the comment I left in your games rating page, please add "Trigger once while true" to all the events that play music or sounds.

Fun game. Also I noticed that most of your games have a cat as a main character.

Title should explain itself. I made this for future reference for future jams.

Also if it wasn't clear, I'm talking about games made and submitted to GDevelop game jams.

There's not much to this game, except a whole lot of burnout.

Hopefully I can update this game with all the stuff I originally wanted to add.

I'll come back here once I make the game I wanted to make from this.

How to get plays:

I know someone else already stated this but play other people's games and leave a comment reviewing it. Maybe create a post on the community tab asking people to play it. Just don't spam advertise your game or beg people.

Probably best not to risk it, although uploading to itch.io is part of the rules. I gueSS your best option is to contact a moderator to fix your issue.

Why didn't you upload the game to itch.io?

Also, it seems your game isn't tied to your GDevelop account, you might want to fix that.

No, not my first jam. It is my second game jam where I left a game unfinished.

Maybe, although the game was supposed to have more levels. Couldn't add them due to burn out. Still, a challenge level with a speedrun timer is something I can add in an update.

Well that's disappointing. Any plans on updating the game?

Be sure to press the "Credits" text at the credits scene, WHILE holding left-shift to enter an unfinished version of the "Westside" level of the game.

Really great game. Wasn't expecting any voice acting in the game jam games, but I stand corrected. Also, It could just be me dying early, but at one point I just cut to credits, no death animation, noting. Didn't even travel too far. Maybe that's a bug?

Please add the condition "Trigger once while true" to all events that play music.

Amazing game! Love the music in this. The game can get a little laggy in some areas though.

The game was fun until my hat decided to take a world tour outside the map in level 3. The graphics where at least nice.

Should have made the game better if the competition was going to be like this. Oh well, burnout is burnout.

Amazing graphics and music with hard gameplay and a 5 minute loading time. Those are the words I would use to describe "Too Slippery!".

Great game help back by how buggy it is. Some things, like jumping on slopes sometimes, make me lose all my speed. Also, sometimes the player gets stuck in a wall, also making you lose all your speed.  Other than that, the music was pretty good, so where the visuals, reminds me of old flash animations. It's just the bugs that hold the game back

Also an option for fullscreen would be nice. It's an option within the itch.io game settings so please add it.
