I think you misunderstood the question. My fault for not saying it in the best way.

I was asking if I (or anyone else) was ALLOWED to use soundfonts.

This is a question I asked at the end of last jam but got no response.

Example of using a soundfont of another game would be using the Pokemon Emerald soundfont while making music for my game. Can I do that or not?

The game jam hasn't started yet, submissions will be open once it does (when the timer runs out on the main page).

Also, it's against the rules to develop the game before the submission period, meaning you'll have to start development then. Not to say you waisted time making your game, after all, practice makes perfect.

Not sure if you know this, but you can't start developing for the game jam until the theme is announced. That being said, there is no need to quit what you're making right now. Maybe you can use your current project as practice for the jam.

You can use AI, however all it would do is make your game look cheap, and turn some people away from playing it. You would definitely be better of making your own assets.

You can only make your game within the submittion period, which is about 7 weeks away.  Not saying that you wasted your time making your game, after all, practice makes perfect.

I specifically left the users username out because he wasn't a part of this specific thread. Because of that, I didn't feel like it was necessary for me to bring him up. If you're really that interested, than look into tays post history, that should answer your question.

I remember the incident. You were spamming comment on a guys game page because you wanted mobile controls, and he didn't want to add any. You also tried reporting the guy for bullying, which to be fair, I kinda get. I did see the original thread myself and the guy was definitely ragebaiting you. That being said you did still spam comments asking for mobile controls for his game, even though doesn't have to.

I think it would be possible for this ban from gdev game jams to be overturned if you make it clear that you won't do something like what you did last jam again.

Yeah, but this is the first gdev jam of the year, so the statement would still make sense

My guess for the theme is "prepare for arrival" or something along that. Seems like the kind of theme a game jam would use.

BTW, there is a secret exit at the end of the level. It's directly under the regular exit, and entering shows some art of the characters of this series. Also, going through the secret exit with no modifiers except the no checkpoints modifier will cause a different art of the characters to show up.

Really fun game, you really nailed the movement. Only problem is that you can cheese the game by going to one of the corners, shooting from there, moving to another corner when you're getting shot at, and then repeat the cycle. Maybe add some bumpers on the corners.

Thanks for the feedback. The graphics being too saturated is something that has been pointed out to me a lot from past game jams, yet I always keep the saturation up. Maybe it's just a problem with me, but I don't mind the saturation that much, if at all, that's probably why I keep doing it. 

This game surprisingly drained me a lot. I pretty much rushed the last parts of the game just to get it over with. Hopefully I managed to get all of the bugs.

Pushing because I would still like an answer, specifically from an organiser of the jam.

Position was way better than what I thought it would be to be honest.

I topic I start after every jam I participate in, where everyone replies with GG or good game.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately it doesn't really help me in the case of if I'm allowed to use it in gdevelop game jams, but I does help me in terms of general use, so thanks for that.

You can publish a page for your game on gd.games by going to the games dashboard, and setting a link for the game.

Hopefully that should work.

I wouldn't recommend begging for people to play your game. It makes you look desperate.

I've already rated your game. I also wouldn't recommend begging people to play your game, especially if it's in a topic that has nothing to do with your game.

Also, like I said in the comment I left in your games rating page, please add "Trigger once while true" to all the events that play music or sounds.

Fun game. Also I noticed that most of your games have a cat as a main character.

There's not much to this game, except a whole lot of burnout.

Hopefully I can update this game with all the stuff I originally wanted to add.

How to get plays:

I know someone else already stated this but play other people's games and leave a comment reviewing it. Maybe create a post on the community tab asking people to play it. Just don't spam advertise your game or beg people.
