How does your game represent Mode?
Charlie the cat switches between his different animalistic MODEs (represented by different MODEs of fashion) in order to move around the airplane switching all the phones to flight-safe MODE.

Cute game! i really like the art, and i think we're all suckers for cats :p it was a really good take on the theme as well. good job overall!!!
It's cute! I like the idea a lot. The platforming feels a little bit stiff to me, I'm not sure why.
The main menu is just perfect...
You achieved a very cool game art style here, I love it. And also, it feels so cool to change modes mid air, it's an interesting system that makes me feel good :D
You have my positive rating!
I can open the game too, and the game poster just looks too good :(
I think I've figured this out, if you go into Source/Content/XML/Preferences.xml in the extracted folder the values for musicVolume and sfxVolume should both be set to 0.25 but it seems like the leading zeroes are dropping off for some people. If you just update this to 0.25 again (or might be best to use 0 or 1 to avoid it being changed again) it should work for you.
Very cute art! I enjoyed the unique modes. A think the platforming might benefit from some gravitational acceleration, as it seems a bit stiff as it is. All in all though, a very well put together submission!
I can't seem to get the game to open unfortunately. I don't even get an error message or a window briefly opening before crashing, nothing happens at all when I try to run the executable. Obviously others are able to run it okay so it must be an issue on my end, is there maybe something else I need to install first for it to work?

Did not work unfortunately, they were already set appropriately for me and changing them to a whole number didn't effect anything. I appreciate you going through the trouble to look for a solution though! I did some searching around myself and it seems like it might be a Monogame issue, I was able to find a forum post of someone else having my exact problem: https://community.monogame.net/t/game-with-monogame-3-8-1-not-working/18490
They were the dev for the game they were having issues with and solved it by publishing the game in a different format, though. I tried reinstalling .net 6 based on what was said in that thread, but no luck there
I actually looked at that thread for a different issue before, it's what prompted me to put the try/catch in that writes to log.txt. If you're not getting that much I think it means something's going wrong before it even gets to the game code :(
Not sure how invested you are but I've open-sourced the codebase if you want to try building it locally - https://github.com/wayne-dillon/NewGame
I really liked how the mode is represented. The style and the audio are very cute. It took me a bit to understand the dash with the cat jump at the beginning, but then is fun!
I get to the intro-screen, but it crashes immediately when I click a button :(

Was very cozy, I was able to almost do everything in frog mode, which is not a bad thing. I think the only thing that tripped me up was I couldn't tell if I was hitting the phones for a while. Might be better to have them pick ups so the player does not double back on themselves. I think the art of the game was amazing.
Love the cat protagonist with the cute animal outfits. Cozy art, music, and gameplay with strong tie to the MODE theme.
"I really liked that you get to play as a kitty and there is frogmode and monkeymode and it's just so super fun, and I liked that you get to double jump and climb walls, and in all i just really liked it"

A very cute game. The movement is a little iffy at times, but I enjoyed playing, great job.
The artwork in this game is adorable. I like how the premise is very easy to grasp and get going with. I really liked how at first it looks like a game of twitch controller skill but the real skill needed for beating the game is route-planning. When I tried to grab the phone in mid-air and got zapped because I had skipped an earlier phone I learned that the hard way, but I liked that aspect a lot.
The fact that there's a level editor and a developer console is amazing. I'll say it again, the artwork is adorable. The music is also appropriately cute. I like how there's an end screen where Charlies looks at the plane as it flies away, that gave a nice sense of closure.
Super cute! Loved the graphics and sound effects. I kind of wish it didn't end the game after 10 seconds without getting a phone, but the levels were still challenging and fun. :)
