I was planning on watching The Thing again soon, this game has made me push it to the top of my list.  I love the suspense you create.  The music was fantastic, it felt like it was building the tension, but it stopped after the introduction and I could start to explore, so with just a few sound effects it lost something that had really hooked me.  The map was a bit of a learning curve and could have been made to function in a simpler way.  But those points aside it's a great story and delivery, well done.

I really like scifi thrillers like this. The story was super interesting and the inventory based puzzles were simple yet rewarding. I think it would be more intuative to highlight adjecent rooms on the map and allow moving by clicking the rooms though. You managed to make pretty immersive game with simple visuals. Awesome job!

Really wasn't expecting that much of interactivity. It's good, not just some VN. Maybe too much of Yesterdays and Befores, but the overall pace is in the flow, and the realistic design fits the game. Special thanks on remembering The Thing movie!

You managed to give your VN a more interactive feel than most, I really enjoyed that. Wandering around Visitor Station and unravelling the mystery was very captivating. Got a bit confused by some of the flashbacks, but that may have been the whole point. The ending seemed a bit rushed and didn't sit well with me. I felt like the actions should have had a bigger impact on the protagonists. But maybe we just don't know the whole story and it makes more sense than it lets on.

Navigation was fine. It took me a moment to find my way around the map, but I like it. The graphics (and colours) add a lot to the atmosphere. The story is also well written. Very intriguing.

This is a great, short VN. :)

Great atmosphere and good story with a surprising ending. It was hard for me to identify which one was my character, but after a couple of dialogs I figured it out.

I liked the map navigation mechanic, although feedback could be improved. Reading conversations from the past while in the present is a narrative form that always catches my attention.

If the sentence about Google Translate was a joke, I didn’t get it. But in general the writing was interesting and to the point.

Kudos for using Godot!

Big "Thing" vibes (which I love). Lots of great characterization

Although, on the whole, I prefer somewhat greater interactivity than a VN format usually allows, I feel you've made the most of that by giving the player the freedom of where to go next, and to have some interaction with the environment. And, of course, your writing is great!

I like your game, I had some issues with the LAB codes but suddenly it worked.  Finished it. Good Job

Alien vibes with that colour overlay. I think its obvious you put so much time into the creative writing and narrative of this project, well done!

Terrific job on this! It feels like you made smart decisions on where to invest your time/effort, and it pays off in the final product. The photos and the time jumps could easily have been tough to follow, but the story pulled me right in and I didn't have an issue at all. (I did struggle at first navigating the map, but I got the hang of it by the end.)

Really well done!!

"Hehe you said among us", too good. I was very captivated by the mysterious nature of the game. Lots of "Aha" moments while playing. GG, Clara.

I've had a very good time with this pretty easy interactive story. The writing is what really sets this apart for me. I found the map a bit confusing and could have done without the flashbacks but I really loved the unique story that will stay with me for quite a while. I think the end felt a little bit rushed with extreme violence that doesn't seem to make much impression on the player character but this might very well be intentional.

Very nice game!

Really fun story! I froze when I saw the map at first, but navigating it ended up being pretty easy once I got a handle on the layout. The little notifications that showed there was something worth examining in the rooms helped too, great work!

Interested in iterating on the map in the future. Thanks for your observations! :-)

Wow. Wowowow. Love the atmosphere you've set up here. I feel like it can be pretty difficult to create good consistent atmosphere in a game with real life photos but this does that brilliantly. I also really like how the map is made, there's a lot of rooms to check which can feel overwhelming, but it breaks it down in a way that makes it much less daunting. Really good overall!!

That's high praise. Thank you! :-)

Neat story, writing, graphics, and atmosphere. It all feels quite 'cold.' The map system was a nice touch, though at times felt a little cumbersome navigating. I kinda thought the flashbacks were a little all over the place initially, like  maybe showing things in a more chronological order might have led me to be less confused, but I understand why you did it that way.  It definitely nods to your mentioned inspirations in lots of the right ways though, cool submission!

Thanks for playing! Hope both our entries wear their inspirations on their sleeve.

What a fantastic experience! You incorporated mystery, tension and horror into the story really well. I was a bit confused initially because it took me while to remember all the characters but I got it eventually. The flashbacks were a nice touch. Graphics and music were spot on too. Good job!

Thanks! :-) Between us we've covered mystery games with big casts on both poles.

This is brilliant!

The atmosphere is perfectly presented with the use of music on story beats and ambient sounds when searching the station. I really like the colors (or lack of) as this gives the game its own identity for sure. Superb and memorable visuals!

The story is well written and the way it moves back and forth through time is wonderful!

Fantastic job on this one! 5★

Thanks! I like to use few colours, and looking at your games it seems like you do too :-)

This was incredible. Loved the visuals and the tension and the story. Great game.
