I like the graphics and music - It's feels really upbeat and cheerful.

The score mechanic is quite clever, as you need to balance filling up the bar, avoid making an obstacle of yourself as you collect fruit, and build up the multiplier to make maximise each fruit.

The controls feels odd at first. You're more inclined to press the wrong direction as the WASD layout doesn't intuitively translate to an isometric directions, moreso when you are frantically trying to eat fruit within 20 seconds. I do like that the game is forgiving when you run into yourself. 

I'm mixed about the movement. On one hand, a tile-per-keystroke is extremely helpful for getting around within 20 seconds. On the other hand, all of this is being carried out by the left hand, so it cramps up your hand quickly. A possible solution to mitigate this may be to have more fruit instances appear on the field or have the snake keep moving forward quickly and limiting the player's inputs to turning left and right. Maybe the snake can move forward in rhythm of the background music's drum beats.

Thank you so much for such a detailed feedback! You talk about left hand... unfortunately I poorly explain to players that you can use arrow keys to - which is more comfortable for right hand I guess.
At the start I thought about the game as a rythm game, where you must eat fruit in beat, but it's so hard to code and 20 seconds is too short to give player enought "beat windows" to justify rythm mechanic

Love the music - The cute graphics are nice too !
Fun game, the angles are weird at first, but you get used to it !
For me, I couldn't quite see the whole game screen, and spamming the keys to try and move quickly didn't feel natural (maybe hold a key down to keep going in the same direction ? and/or add a fullscreen option ?)
Also being able to run into yourself without dying is nice :)

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, fullscreen would be a nice thing to add, also "hold to move" not such a broken thing as it seemed to me at first, that’s why it’s also worth adding

Enjoyed the step-by-step twist on a classic game like snake! Having the tilt also makes it so much harder for me, even turning can turn out to be a chaos! The music is a blast, the art is cute, give me more levels and the ability to select a level to play on, and we are set! Well done!

I would've liked to use controls that mimicked an X rather than a upside down T (such as WEAS instead of WASD), but great game otherwise!

I love that avocados are in the fruit list!  Good use of theme and well written.  Fun game. 

I wanted to be able to hold the keyboard controls down to keep going in a direction.

The controls are somehow strange in the beginning, but as soon as you get used to it, it is a very fun game. Loved the presentation overall, nice music and graphics!

Hey nice presentation graphics and sound, I beat all levels with 0 seconds remaining, the controlls were a bit weird at start but I get used quickly, I thought it was just a rushing game until I got stuck around my body in the second level, its great that you dont have to start over and you can reset the level at any time, the only thing I can think off is that being able to hold the button to move would be a nice addition. The end screen is amazing with the falling fruits and im hearing the music while writing this. Good job !

I was expecting a simple snake game but I have never played a snake game like this. I am glad there are multiple levels so I have more to come back to!

This is an interesting twist on the snake formula.  The only thing that throws me off is that my brain isn't able to fully wrap itself around the wasd controls.  They are probably the best controls given the circumstances, but navigating an isometric grid with a more square grid layout never felt fully natural, though I got proficient enough with the controls that I could beat the game.  The combo system is really neat, and this plays like no snake game I have ever played before

I'm actually quite a big fan of the isometric controls for the snake, once I replayed the game enough time that control scheme felt so natural to me. Really really really fun game to look at and play, everything here just works!

nice take on a classic; the colors and perspective is “refreshing” and a joy to be inside :) made it past the first level but the 2nd seems a small wall to scale thus far. meanwhile, some simple drop shadows for the magical fruit might go a long way but it’s a great game, as is. thanks for sharing :)

Completed the final round with 2 seconds left.

Colors pop well and feel attractive. Variety in berries is a nice twist to traditional snake game. Music is a nice choice too. The levels felt different enough from each other while also presenting a challenge without making it too difficult.

I adapted to the input layout by rotating the game view inside my head (pretend I was looking from the side) so the controls made perfect sense. You could try experimenting with WAD keys for moving forward, turning left and right on local axis. This would reduce the inputs to 3 keys while also changing the way players see the game. A lot of casual players may not spend much time or effort trying to adapt to a new/different perspective

Due to the time limit, I could not pay much attention to the berries on the combo list. To help make it easier, you could probably change the size of the berry icon on the top row in such a way that whichever berry was expected next, that one would be slightly bigger (or change its background color or something about it different enough to stand out a bit) so the player attention could easily go to it when looking up there. Once that berry is consumed, you could make bigger/different the next icon on the row.

Do you plan on releasing an Android version as well? I think it has good potential for the mobile market.

I agree with you - it's not easy to pay attention to the combo list, so some glowing effect around the wanted fruit would be nice thing to add. And no, I'm not making mobile games, at least for now.

I would consider to add a UI around the snake, that allows me to move in the isometric diagonal. It was really confusing the way it was originally mapped.

Yeah, I heard from several people that it was difficult for them to move in isometrics, but the image of a snake in isometrics was so deeply ingrained in my imagination that I could not help but implement it))
