I’m a sucker for games like Islander, so I knew I’d love this when I first saw it on Discord! Sadly there is a weird memory crash issue on browser that hinder gameplay, otherwise, loved it!

Few notes I’d add: Don’t punish me for building in a building game, punish me for building in the wrong way. The fact that I get minus points for production is a really weird choice imo. Punish me for putting them close to each other (like warehouse) instead because now it feels like you are giving negative points for playing the game.

Add a little music, more sprites and we have a solid full project on our hands!

Showcasing the cost for the building inside the gameplay (on an empty space somewhere on the screen) would be nice to have!

Give me a restart button, so I don’t have to double click Menu -> Start!

I’m just picking little flaws, because I like what you have here and want to help to polish it even further!

Well done!

This was pretty difficult to understand, and I'm still not completely sure if I fully get it but regardless making a mechanically dense city building simulator is a very impressive task! I think you could've maybe opted for a more simple game for the jam, but that's down to preference, good job!

The mechanics are very promising! I like the concept!

Hey good job making a city builder, I didnt read the instructions and had to go read it anyway lol, in my games I ended up with tones of unused wood, maybe making something that give you points like the satue does but build using wood. Also adding a replay button in the end screen would facilitate. I think the building UI should display lumberjack->quarry->warehouse->statue, so you pick them naturally. Its a fun game when you understand the rules, congratulations

I like the concept, but I encourage you to reconsider the way you teach the rules of the game to the player.
Almost no one will want to read your entire instructions.
In addition, your instructions are solid text; if you add pictures with examples, it will be much easier.
The game ends quite quickly for a concept like this, so the game doesn't have time to unfold.
My record is 2 points. The game gets boring very quickly and feels crooked.
But you’re great for daring to approach a 20-second gameplay task in such an unconventional way.
