Truly amazing, I just spent the last 10 minutes completing the game, and enjoyed every second of it!

Awwh thanks , I'm really happy you enjoyed playing it!

What a cool game! I really like the shooting mechanic and the sound effect is amazing. Personally I think maybe aim and shoot by hold and release the same mouse button feel a bit smoother than clicking 2 but it's not a big deal at all :D Overall very solid game! Great work!

Developer

Thanks alot for playing, and great feedback!

Wow! That is a cool game. Love the graphics and music. And the shop mechanic kept me going for a while. Good game.

Developer

cool game concept! i think it could be fleshed out well too! i did have issues with shooting and the jittering camera zooms, but the overall idea is good

Developer

Thanks for your feedback,  I definitely have to work on it more.

Nice work on the assets! It is awesome to see people using Godot and Aseprite. You should add a jetpack on to the character and have movement feel more zero-gravity like and gain velocity via the jetpack.

Thanks for playing !!

Wow this game looks amazing and I love that you can go to you base and upgrade your equipment! As other people mentioned, I did have some issues shooting but overall the game ran very smoothly.

Developer

Thanks for playing, im glad you liked it!

Fun game! I liked that there was an upgrade system and a reason to keep repeating the loop. For some reason I was getting stuck having trouble shooting where it wouldn't be responsive but that could just be on my end. Keep it up!

Developer

Thanks for playing, yea it's a lil bug. Shooting sometimes doesn't work it's when you aim to fast after shooting I think.

This is a quality game! The music is really nice, and the transitions are well done.

I think it would be nice to have an indicator on where the base is, maybe when you travel out far enough it appears? Also, is there a negative effect when you go over your cargo weight?

I had an issue where I couldn't shoot whilst I was aiming. Otherwise, everything felt really polished!

Developer(+1)

Thanks yea, I will add like a pointer to the base so it's easier to navigate. And yea somthimes the shooting is kinda bugged

I loved playing through this game, the atmosphere is very relaxing . I felt like I was a little bit overpowered after I got the first harpoon upgrade though, maybe that could be fixed by adding more powerful fish along the way. Or maybe you can keep the game's coziness

Developer(+1)

Yea if I had more time I would have added more difficult fishes! Thanks for playing!

This was great. Plays really well and the ability to upgrade your gear is a nice touch. It wasn't super clear that I had to go back to base. I see the comments about the theme, maybe if you were hunting aliens rather than fish it would be a little less like water. I took it to be fish in space, so it didn't jump out to me that I was in water. Music also works well!

In any case, great work to you both.

Developer

Thanks alot, for playing! I'll definitly have to work more on it.

The game feels great, the movement feels smooth, and the shooting of the spear feels satisfying, the audio is well integrated, and the visuals are amazing! I personally didn't feel like I was in space because the movements are "too" responsive, would prefer I was floating a bit after I let go of the movement keys, Great Job overall! Cheers!! :D

Edit: I read some of the comments and one of them mentioned it felt like water, I think you can place space elements in the scene to make more spacey, like planets or stars.

Developer(+1)

Thanks alot for playing and the feedback, I will definitely work on the movement for sure!

Yea I wanted to make more scenery , but not enough time.

Great work!  like the concept, it has great potential, but i do agree with the below. He is a scuba diver spear fishing. Not a space thing - water is just purple.

I liked the game, but i honestly had trouble. Alot of the time, the spear didnt shoot out. and i was not a fan of having to aim to shoot, there are other ways that could have made the shooting more enjoyable. Also... "Stopping" to shoot, doesnt work when your in 0 gravity, you will continue to float lol.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! I do agree about the movement, tho I just wanted to recreate "Dave the diver". But normally with the shooting mechanic there shouldn't be a problem normally you can shoot only when you are aiming.

Very nice - cool music, fun gameplay and impressive transition effects!

It’s a bit hard to play using a trackpad, though.

Between the fish, the way the levels were laid out and the way you control your character, it still felt like I was under water. Perhaps the character should drift a bit after moving as if he was in space?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback, I first did wanted to add a bit more friction so it drifts more, but I was worried it would make the movement a bit janky!

dave the diver?

That was my go to for the jam!
