It is simple in the best way! Visuals are striking, Sound Effects are on point. It is fast paced in a way, that I restarted over a couple times after I thought, that I have already tried enough times.

Only point I could make is about my eyes being so focused on the bottom part of the screen, to catch the green area, that I didn't get to enjoy the visuals while playing as much. Maybe you could move it up a little bit and make it part of the scene.

Alien Invasion always works well!

Thanks for you toughtfull review! Glad you enjoyed your time with the game!
During development we went back on forth on different placement for the UI elements, we decided to cramp everything near the bar, at the bottom, to at least have a glimpse of them while focusing! Sadly, as you say, we're still too focused on the bar and can't enjoy the rest of the art, but we'll think of something better for our next jam!

Very cool! I like the absurdism and wacky sound effects, it makes the game stand out as very unique and feels very unified and coherent. Your take on the limitation is also really clever :)
