Really nice work with good polish! I like the shifting genres between the action / weapon testing and the chill crafting, it's a clever way to keep shifting the game pace. Maybe having it so there's a line of people who keep forming a line, and you have to try and clear up a very busy line of people could be cool, and give a more easily defined direction or "end goal".

Pixel arts are amazing. The idea of being an NPC is exciting. But the fact that the names of the items were not written while buying confused me, I could not understand what I bought, the images are nice as I said, but it is not clear what the item is. Good job

Very very cool game! The art is really handsome, the music sets the ambience very well, the take on the theme was very creative and the core loop felt just right. Aside from the font issue and the bug where a client didn't say anything to me, there's really nothing else I can complain about this game. It's very complete and a really solid entry for a 48 hour game jam! Congrats!

Hey pretty cool! I like the idea quite a bit, especially since you are both buying and selling the items at your shop. One thing that did seem slightly annoying was it seemed a lot of the time I would get like 5 people in a row trying to sell me something when I had no money, and other times when I had a little money but no good ingredients. Not a big deal though since you can just "no" people and I don't think there was a punishment for that. I also like the idea that you test you weapons first!

Overall really cool and well done! Good work!

This was extremely well done. I'd like to see more. I think if instead of having one random player come at a time, you could decide if you're selling or buying, but there's a lot of room for a full game here! Loved the slow burn on learning what materials make what combinations. Great submission yall!

This game looks and sounds great and has a really interesting concept. I also enjoyed the puzzle aspect to creating the right weapons, though I found it non-obvious which materials would do which things. I agree that the font is a bit hard to read, but it wasn't overly bad and I could still play the game fine. I think the battles could be more interesting, as right now they're pretty much just spamming left click until the enemy dies, and they got quite tedious after a while. I didn't end up finishing the game, but overall enjoyed what I played---nice work!

A really well presented entry which fits the theme well. I can see quite a few directions it could go in if you were to work on it further; such as more challenging enemy fights and perhaps a resource gathering loop. A much needed quality of life improvement would be a catalogue of previously crafted weapons and their stats, but I realise this was a jam and you prioritised other things! I encountered a bug where me and the customer just stared at each other (pictured), but other than that, I really enjoyed this!

This game was fantastic and well done, the artwork was adorable and the gameplay mechanics were enjoyable.

This was amazing well done and polished for a 45 hour jam game -- the art was cute and the mechanics were fun. My only gripe is that the font was a bit hard to read.

Really nice game! I think it takes a bit long, and I wish it were a bit more clear what the stats of your crafts are going to be, but those are relatively minor gripes. Nice job!

Very cool game. I liked that the placement of the material affected different stats. I could definitely see this being even more fun with some more refinement. I did find the text hard to read in some spots.

This was enjoyable although the sword and spear attacks got boring if they were low level (with the bow you could just click many times fast to attack with no cooldown). There is also an issue with the tooltip box on the last column of inventory going off the screen so I couldn't see the stats.

I really want to enjoy this game but it became too frustratng at the point where 10 adventurers in a row wanted to sell loot but i had no money to buy it because no one was buying anything from me. I stopped playing at the point where a character who wanted a fragile and powerful spear refused to take my spear made of glass and uranium. It had 1 durability and 5 attack, I do not understand why this didnt fulfil his requirements.

Great premse, I want to love it. I would be incredibly excited to play this again if it recieved some updates after the jam.

hey i replayed the game and found a bug. If you click the bow icon in the inventory while battling, it will spawn some really slow arrows that go to the next screen

Thanks for letting me know

Great game, I love the little coin stack! I like the idea of testing out weapons, but in practice it was a little tedious doing it every time - maybe if it was an optional element to boost your sale price or something?

Thanks for the feedback! That was actually the original plan, but we ran out of time :(

By far one of the best takes on the "You play the NPC in an RPG style" games. This was really well executed and genuinely fun, I just kept playing and had a blast. The crafting system was especially impressive. I thought it was so cool that position of materials was taken into consideration, as well as the legit items i used in the manufacturing process.
Presentation wise, the game is really pretty in a very retro way, and I really liked how it looked, and how much detail you managed to include in the weapons based on the materials used. Really well done, def a game I will come back and play again.
