I was clicking so hard on that 5 star buttons hoping they'd turn into even more. Really like this one, the music made me giggle for hours, well done, nice entry thank you so much !

I really like the look of this game :) Good job!

Excellent game, le chant de l'oignon feat perfectly with it, I would love to have more level to shell other members of the coalition, vive l'empereur !

Excellent visuals and game feel! There was a bit of visual clutter with the infantry getting lost amongst the building, but a very solid experience nonetheless. Nice work!

Very polished and pretty fun! Love the sound design and visual effects ^^

I have a couple gripes with the speed of the game and the last level (I'd assume?) though. I totally get why the speed of the objects are as slow as they are, but it makes waiting for/replaying levels kind of a slog. It's not helped much by the level design, which the level I got stuck on felt less like a puzzle and more like bashing my head against a wall. It might be something to do with how varied the options of where/when to throw out the misses are, along with some RNG in the movement patterns of the ground patrol and cannon targeting?

Either way, I love this concept, and the execution for the most part is spot on!

Thanks for the quality feedback!

You can speed up the game with shift, that is explained on level 3 iirc. As for the later puzzle levels, I totally get where you're coming from. Difficulty was hard to get right, the rank system was meant to allow for less concise solutions to still work but it seems it didn't work for everyone.

There shouldn't be any RNG, I think there is a text box that says that nearest the attacks are targeted first, although I regrettably forgot to mention that once something is "locked on" it won't change targets unless the attack is destroyed. That part is poor tutorialization on my end, and it made later puzzles seem less intuitive that I'd hoped.

Glad you could still enjoy it despite some rough edges here and there.

One of the best games I played during this Jam.
Very addictive. I did my best but I honestly couldn't beat level 5. 😅

Very polished and enjoyable game, had a lot of fun yeeting nukes down! Only wish was that I could kill those rifle guys with a carefully placed nuke tho. Overall this was a great game with good art and fun music, good job!

If I had more time to fine-tune balance, I would definitely have added ways to kill the carabineers and destroy the barbette guns. If I ever continue the project that's definitely something I'll consider. Thanks for the feedback!

Amazing game absolutely loved it. Towards the end I just started volleying as many nukes as possible. It was the best.

I blown away! (or nuked)

I loved this game so much. I loved the music, the aesthetic, and the difficulty was absolutely perfect, providing a lot of challenge while still being fun, and not stressful. I also really liked the slight pause whenever a building blew up, that was a very nice touch. Absolutely fantastic job with this one.

That was an absolute blast. Thank you for this gem.

I would recommend upping the contrast on the menu, but still, all 5's from me

This ended up being too difficult for me, but I still ended up loving it. The theme, presentation, and gameplay are just too good.

Developer

That seems to be the general consensus. It's hard to fine-tune difficulty with so little time, I thought adding bronze silver and gold ranks would remedy this but I guess it didn't work for everyone. Thanks for playing though, I'm glad you could still enjoy it despite the difficulty :)

A fun and original idea! I love the artstyle! I got stuck on a level, but I still enjoyed it. Great work! :)

The game I didn't know I needed until I played it! Vive L'Empereu!

Great concept and execution !!
The game is exiting to play. It took me time to understand the enemy's reach. I though it was an enlargement with a loope, silly me xD. The way the game become slower when a bomb explode on the target is very satisfying.
The level 5 is difficult to read with the soldiers mixed with the building sprites.
Great job !

Readability so far has been one the biggest problems, if I ever continue the project I'll probably rework the sprites so everything is clearer. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!

This surely is the best game I have played on this jam so far. You should be proud of yourself!
