Easily one of the best indie game I've played lately!
Amazing job!
I really enjoyed this. Fantastic voice acting! Gave me a good chuckle!
Didn't expect to find and FPS in this jam! I don't truly understand what's going on but I had fun
Interesting idea for reverse stealth game! Managed to complete it in one sitting, but it was pretty fun! Perfomance was a bit tanky, but other than that I had a good time with this! Also worth mentioning that the voices are really funny.
Thanks mate!
Pretty fun, though the dead bodies having collision is just begging for the player to get softlocked.
Didn't you know? Getting softlocked is part of the gamejam kit of fun! (Just kidding of course! I got softlocked myself once, but I just run out of time for even the most basic stuff! Basically published 1 minute before uploads stopped! Thank you very much for playing and for the feedback!) No wait, what I meant to say was, that avoiding a softlock, is part of the strategy! Yes! It's a feature not a bug!
Of course!
Interesting idea but I'm not sure if I was doing it right. I loved the voices though
Did you kill all those dirty criminals and saved the world with the VIRUS Disc? Because if you did, you played it right! If you didn't you at least striked fear into the hearts of those criminals, so you also played it right! :D
YAY! They were definitely afraid lol
I like the idea of a reverse stealth game, with more polish this could be something really special. At the moment though, you kinda just run around shooting. More juice could help propel this game up a bit, but even now its still a solid entry.
Thank you very much. I was hoping to make it deeper, but then the Jam Timer is a cruel mistress. But your words make me proud of what I achieved, even if it is flawed!
This was pretty fun. I really liked the voices, and how you could use that to know where the enemies were. Great job!
Didn't know you could! Thought it was completely bugged! Good to know! Thanks for the feedback!
I don't know if it was actually directional, but I for sure knew I had cleared out a room after I couldn't hear any more voices.
Again, thanks for letting me know! I'm glad to hear that the game was playing somewhat closer to what I intended!
It's like playing hide and seek but with guns. What a blast!
Glad you liked it! Love your name btw. Used to have a similar one. (The 0010001)
Cool submission!
Top quality voice acting (goes without saying). Graphics and level design are very nice. I liked the enemy models, reminded me of the game JazzPunk.
For improvements, I'd suggest working on the controls to make them feel a bit better. I'd also suggest adding an effect for when you hit an enemy, as its hard to tell whether you have shot them atm.
Overall, fun prototype game. Good Job!
Thank you for playing and enjoying! And also thank you for telling me about JazzPunk! I checked it out and it looks cool!
Nice concept. It's like playing Dead by Daylight, but in hunter mode." :) Good job!
Exactly! Except without all the Dead Hard, DS and the flashlights! xD
Impressive to use unreal! I like the voices and the graphics, good job!
When you get to know it, Unreal is the easiest/fastest way to prototype! Thank you for your kind words!
3D is tough to implement well - beautiful execution, great idea!! Super clever.
Thank you good sir! Glad you apreciated it! Comments like that fuel me to continue developing it! ^_^
That was actually a lot of fun. I was yelling, it was almost threat level midnight and I just got the virus disk. I had to parkour down the stairs to make it in time.
I like that the enemies hide from you, so it's almost a hide and seek vibe. Fun!
Achievment unlocked! First really positive comment! Glad you liked it! I plan on improving it after the jam ends and make it even better! ^_^
You totally should! Legit had a blast.
Nicely presented and clear, love the concept of the guards playing hide and seek with you!
Thanks Necro!
Its a diamond in the rough.
That's what I was aiming for! Thanks!
Hugely agree. If the controls and presentation were better it would be a lot of fun.
Jim Candle is a man of focus, commitment, sheer fockin will.
I once saw him kill three men in a bar with a pencil. A fucking. pencil.
Yeah I have heard that story
Interesting little game, a bit rough around the edges. I did get the virus disc and saved the world though! The guards weren't very good at stealth games thankfully xD
Well done Jim. You saved the world! The guards were probably just panicking and suffering from "why didn't I use behavior trees"-itis! Who wouldn't, when facing Jim Candle!
Voice over was great. I was unsure why the guards had guns despite not using them, but overall it was an interesting premise. Never did make it to threat level midnight.
The voice acting was awesome. Very campy.
I loved the music and sound effects, I think it would've been great were it a bit more cohesive
Thank you for playing! I would have loved it if it was a little more cohesive too! :D
