How does your game fit the theme?
In Screen Golf, we adapted the Jam theme by giving a classic puzzle-platformer game a twist, the player doesn't control the "player" but the screen itself(meaning the aspect ratio, completely overwritting thus the players role) to guide the ball to its destination through 5 levels.

Awesome! How did you make these many mechanics?

Very creative game, and well polished! Good work!!!

Well done! The wall destroying mechanic was my favorite. Good art. Good music. I especially appreciated the piano slam on failure. :)

Very, very cool idea! Really like your concept here and the music + visuals just bring it to a really nice level of  polish, awesome!

This idea is honestly incredible, best take on the jam's theme, and while I was initially super impressed with this mechanic, it got annoying quite quickly

First of all, the hitboxes of the aspect ratio controls are very small, I managed to miss them so many times and lose because of that, and even worse is that sometimes the hitboxes disappear and I can't click on them

I think that responsiveness is especially important with your game's genre, and while the player was responsive, I can't say the same about the aspect ratio, which was the main mechanic to begin with. I think that if the game was slower paced I would've liked it a lot more

Still, the idea execution was exceptional and I have to give you credit for the level design and the feel of the game, which were pretty good, well done!

I also had issues clicking on the sides of the screen sometimes, and after replaying it, I suspect the issue is that some objects are inconsistently "in front of" some of the side-of-screen hitboxes, so that the game registers the click as being on a piece of the ground (which doesn't do anything when clicked) rather than the side of the screen.

That's true we also had this issue with the GUI in our game, but even when they don't pop in front, the hitbox still feels small

Super unique idea here! I really love how we created semi-similar games that used the screen size alterations with the game itself. Fantastic execution!

From one 2d Golf game to another, I love how well rounded and polished the whole experience feels! I liked the creativity of the idea as well. I believe this is the first game I gave 5/5 on all ratings. Amazing result for 48 hours
