The idea is simple but it's a really funny and creative game! Maybe just a bit too hard at the start. Overall a nice entry, good job!

i've played a bunch of reverse fishing games this jam, but somehow i'm pretty sure there weren't any other that would actually spin the most recognizable fishing minigame like you did. fun art, very chill music and yep level 3 was HARD

This game's really fun, I wish there was an unlimited mode so I could keep yanking fishers into the lake lmao. :] Great presentation too, it's very chill! :)
I had a bit of a hard time with the controls of when it was time to attack to push the fisherman in but overall think this was super creative! Your art, presentation, and music were great!
I love the idea to catch the fisherman.
A bit hard (particularly the third level) but it's nice to try hard with such lofi music
Took me a second to figure out that you have to keep controlling the fish to pull away after biting (I expected to get reeled in slowly and have to defeat the fisherman before he pulled me out of the water), but I like it! Needing to manage pulling away (but not too far!) while also playing the timing-based mini-game was a good challenge, especially as the mini-game got faster.
Fun little game that had me hooked to beat that last level. The gameplay felt like trying to pat my head while rubbing my stomach at the same time, in a good way! It definitely worked.

A nice little game, but maybe I’m not understanding how to play it, because it seems like there isn’t enough time to actually pull the fisherman into the water. I have to press shift and then hit space bar three times in a fraction of a second, or I lose all 3 lives instantly.
Hey! You have to move around to stay out of the water, Sorry the directions were not more clear!
Oh, that makes more sense! I could have sworn I tried moving before and it didn’t work then. But yeah, that definitely makes the game a lot easier!
Reverse fishing is such a great idea, and this was really fun. Would love to see it expanded further, endless possibilities for mechanics you could add.
