Episode description
"In the post-apocalyptic landscape of the Scottish Moors, a woman attempts to survive the land full of "dogs.""

The part of the episode which my game is inspired by is the first part of the episode, where the protagonists are in a warehouse and first meet the "dogs".

Anything you want to say to players before they play?
The game is fully playable in browser, but it's better to download the executable install the game.

This is because I could not get the lighting system does not work for html5. And so the browser version is a lot less "emersive".

I found out about this game jam late on, so I only had 4 days to finnish this game. Because of this it's a lot shorter than what I had envisioned.

I liked the atmosphere of this game and the art. I'm a little confused as to why I was collecting teddy bears, but it was cute, especially at the end. The AI seemed to break after they see you, and their line-of-sight seemed to go through walls. The animations were nice, though there was no jumping animation, and the jump itself seemed too low.

The teddy bear is part of the episode, no spoilers. As I only had four days to complete the game I did not have time to make a jump animation. And that is also why the game is not that polished, as I had to throw away some ideas last minute and just make it all work. I might fix these issues after the voting period is over. Thank you for playing!

I love this show, this episode and this game! Super simple concept, but you really nailed the atmosphere and feel of the ep. Jump did feel a little short, and spamming it definitely made the game easier. But I actually liked how I could get to the end. Great work!

Really fun, played it all the way through. Liked the animation/art style and music sound fx. Also though the transition between rooms was good. I'm always a bit annoyed when jump isnt space :) but its a really good jam game!

Developer

Thank you!
haha, yeah, I actually prefer the space bar for jump too, but for some reason I made the up key  to be the jump key  this time.

Wow I was so happy to see someone making a game out of this! And it captures the mood perfectly (except maybe for the fact that the "dogs" feel significantly less dangerous than they are on the show – but I guess making them that overpowered would have made the game impossible to win :D) Congrats!

Developer

Thank you! The idea was to make the dogs more powerful at later stages. But I never got that far:P

Nice immersive little game, I thoroughly enjoyed it! The eerie soundtrack, and the colour palette sets the atmosphere just right! Good job! :)

Great atmosphere and nice animations! It was quick and simple, but I enjoyed it. You could kind of easily jump over the "dogs" pretty easily and just run to the end which took a bit of tension away. But that's just looking for a quick way to play through I know.

I had trouble seeing the ladders except for in between the floors, especially in the html5 version where I couldn't see them at all. I could barely make them out when I tried downloading.

Overall a really neat idea and a good job interpreting the episode! Great job!

Developer

haha yeah. The jumping over the dogs thing was a misscalculation on my part!

Maybe I'll change the nuances of the ladders in the future! Thanks!

I just jumped my way to victory

Developer

That's one way to do it.
