Awesome game! It was really fun setting up a plan and seeing chaos unfold. It was cool seeing things up close and from afar, and I was excited to try different formations to overcome the enemy. As a fan of games like Company of Heroes, this game is definitely for me.
In the future I would definitely create more varied levels with different map sizes, maybe starting with just one or two units and allowing the player to unlock new units. I often found myself lost with which unit did what, because it was all available from the start. I would also like to see more color or different buildings included in the map.
Great project! Please let me know when you come out with an update or sequel!

Awesome concept! I loved the art style and simple concept of the game. It felt kinda nostalgic for me. The music was really cool and the overall gameplay was awesome. I did notice that Story and Rule didn't work for me, only Fight. It would be cool to see different attacks or maybe different characters in the future!

Great work. I loved the sound effects, art, player design, and overall game feel. It felt good to run and shoot at the same time. However on my end the game runs very choppy, and certain art pieces would load in and out. I also wasn't sure whether I was hitting the zombies half the time, so maybe an indicator (whether UI or particle effect) would be useful feedback. I wasn't sure where to go or how long I had to hold out so maybe mention that on the page or before the game starts.
Overall this was a solid project, hard to believe you made it in just a week! I am excited to see what you can pull off in the future, or on a sequel of some kind.

This is an awesome idea. I really enjoyed the colorful vibe, the chiptune-type music, and the unique character designs. I think in the future you could maybe spread it out more, have different rooms or more challenges because it felt a little on the short side. Excited to see what you work on in the future.

Hi there,
I've worked on several game jams over the past 6 years handling programming, design, and production, but I'm now looking to build my portfolio as a writer.
If your team needs help with writing the story, dialogue, UI and menus, encyclopedia and character bios, and anything else, please contact me!

Hey all,
I'm a writer/designer with experience using Unity, Unreal (mostly BSPs), GitHub, Agile practices. Produced dozens of games, and even more that were never fully finished or released. I can assist designing levels, writing any dialogue or fluff, and helping organize our roadmap/product backlog.
Looking for a team that is committed to finishing and submitting, who won't flake halfway through the project, and who are passionate about making cool experiences.

Thanks for the feedback kuzeybaykal! The green box is the package you have to deliver to the doorstep, and the correct address is marked by a transparent green box. We understand that may not have been clear!
We like your title and actually considered something similar, but eventually opted against using "simulator" in the title for something more in line with the theme!
Loved watching your Let's Play RobsonRages! Glad you enjoyed the theme and mechanics, and yes that platforming section is definitely difficult so don't blame yourself! There is another path you can take to find the club without having to jump over the spikes, just make sure you have the sword... Hope you give it another shot! Thanks for playing!
Absolutely! Check out his work on Toothgrinder Labs! Appreciate you asking!
Thanks Gamer Kai! We appreciate the compliment and the feedback. Some of the issues you mentioned should be addressed in the most recent 3.1 update, but if you still encounter bugs, please consider submitting an issue on our Github page! We'll review each one for the next release! Thanks again for playing!
Amazing game for a solo effort! I like how the car and boat handled, and the bottles piling up and shifting around was a really well done touch. Felt like it could have used a little music, and the bottle art style was at odds with the rest of the game, but that's just nitpicking on an otherwise solid game!
One of the most original concepts in this jam so far! Loved the idea, and loved how it translated through game mechanics. Very simple but very effective. An absolute feat for a one man team! Would have loved some voice acting to be able to follow the dialogue though, as I was more focused on not running into walls!
Interesting concept and great result for a team of 2! Like others, I was a little confused with how to play or the order of cooking, I mostly ended up with what looked like burnt cookies. I think just a tiny bit more clarity on how to play would be useful, but I did like the experimentation of it all! Plus I loved the art style. Overall great take on the show!
Thanks atolVerderben! We're proud of the level design too, which was done by our very own Zach Kolman. Don't worry, you weren't the only one to be confused by that. We've changed the colors and collision of those vines so it should be just a little bit more obvious. Thanks for the feedback! If you find anything else, send us an issue on our Github page here: https://github.com/leohlim/KelpMaze/issues.
Hey The Frustrated Gamer! We loved watching your Let's Play of our game, it was hilarious to watch and you have a great YouTube personality! We've actually updated it a little since you last played, so you shouldn't die before starting the spike section anymore. We hope you give it another look and manage to find Spongebob! Check out the latest release here: https://github.com/leohlim/KelpMaze/releases/tag/3.1.
Thanks for playing Chasersgaming! Sorry to hear about your issue, but that has now been resolved in version 2.0. You can check it out on our release page here.
Thanks for your feedback niadocraz! We heard your issue with the game over screen menus, and implemented a fix in our new version 2.0 release. You can find it here. Hope you give it another shot!
