Pretty good or a uni project. I personally wasn't a fan of the camera. Not being able to rotate around meant I had buildings blocking my sight. Overall I just found the camera too restrictive in what I could do with it, and though having it move with the direction of the mouse is nice, it seemed like I was sacrificing my view around my character to do so. The first enemy that was triggered I shot and killed but was unable to investigate / pickup whatever was dropped as the player character immediately moved under the barricade. I couldn't get back. I was killed by a running enemy that I spotted too late; it seemed like I was powerless to do anything once it became hand-to-hand combat with them. Liked the beginning cinematic intro, and the game art was effective in creating an atmosphere setting.

The idea of making the camera to move with the mouse was meant to add more tension,  forcing you to keep watching your back. The idea was to feel underpowered against the horde.

The character runs faster than the zombies when facing the direction they are going, there isn't melee combat but you can create some distance between you and them.

I'm really glad you liked it and  thanks for the feedback(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Great work. I loved the sound effects, art, player design, and overall game feel. It felt good to run and shoot at the same time. However on my end the game runs very choppy, and certain art pieces would load in and out.  I also wasn't sure whether I was hitting the zombies half the time, so maybe an indicator (whether UI or particle effect) would be useful feedback. I wasn't sure where to go or how long I had to hold out so maybe mention that on the page or before the game starts.

Overall this was a solid project, hard to believe you made it in just a week! I am excited to see what you can pull off in the future, or on a sequel of some kind.

it is posible that the game runs choppy even tough it plays fine on my end. I had some problems uploading the game as WebGL due to size and browser memory overloads. I provided a downloadable version if you want to try. It is more stable.

As far as I know there is a particle effect for when you hit a zombie, but maybe it is not working well in Web on some devices.

As you indicated, I should have mentioned that if you kill 20 or 25 zombies I believe, you can unlock an ending. My bad.

Thanks a lot for playing my game and leaving such good feedback (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Scary game, well done! I usually hate cut scenes and wanted to skip yours. But I am glad I watched it to the end. Great job!
