This was truly enjoyable, satisfying to add them on to the circle and the music was really catchy haha.

Reminds me "Zuma" but with a twist with how the goal changes speeds and rotation. I'm wondering how it would feel if instead of losing points when I miss a shot, so that I can use that to discard the animal I don't want. For example, I had removed the elephant but then got another, which made me think "I don't need it since there are no other elephants" so I want to discard it but lose points...

Developer

Yes indeed, I intended to make a different Zuma game.I considered to substract score when you discard an animal. But after some friends of mine tested it they both thought this game is a little difficult. Losing score for discarding animals will make the game more difficult so I decided  to give up this idea.I'll reconsider it if I have the chance to polish it better in the future.Thank you for your advice and thank you for playing!

Submitted

Oh, it is not there? I was saying that my experience was that I did lose points and I wanted not to :D Maybe there was another reason why I lost points and just did not see it :D

Developer(+1)

Sorry I missed your point cause I'm not a native English speaker :(

The reason you lost your score is when the animals finish one circle you will be punished by losing 3 point. So you have to balance the weight of animals to control the rotation speed meanwhile you have to get score by making animal fall from the circle .You can find the rule in "How to play" page but I did not make it clear in game.It was my fault.

Submitted

Pretty fun game! The rotation pretty confusing but otherwise great work! Keep it up!

Developer(+1)

I realized the problem that many players felt confused on rotation.I'll try my best to make the rule clear next time.Thank you for playing!

took me a play through to figure out the mechanics of the circling animals and how to make them slow down and go faster, but once I figured out that some animals pull it in a tug of war I had a lot of fun trying to balance the rotation but also score points. It was tough to reach 60 for hell mode! nice spin on the theme and fun game

Developer

It does take some practice to reach 60.Maybe it's still too hard for new players.Thank you for playing and sharing your progress!

Submitted

Nice game. I am still a little confused when the rotation goes faster and when slower.

Developer

It's about the animals' weight distribution.Sorry that I did not make it clear in rule page.I expected players will find out the solution to control  the speed of circle. The key to play this game is to balance the animals' weight on both sides. The heavier the animal is, the higher contribution it does. It's like a   tug-of-war.

Submitted

Oh that makes sense.. I did have a hunch that it might be something like that.. but I thought its the stack size of the animal that has the main influence.

Developer

Actually the size also influence :D  The product of animal's single weight and stack size matters.

This is a really good concept for a casual/mobile game. Music fits awesome for those cartoonish animals. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for playing my game!  :D

Woow, concept! I have to say I was quite impressed by the twist where you make them grow, what a nice way to merge 2 concepts for the jam! You can be proud of what you made 😄

Developer(+1)

Really glad to see that!To be honest, your game also impressed me a lot. It's one of my favorite games in this Jam.

Love the music :D

Developer

Haha I love it too.I bought it from unity asset store before didn't expect it suits my game well.

Interesting concept. Initially I had trouble finding out how to keep it all under control.
After reading the how to play it started to make more sense to me.

Maybe having just small icons next to the shooting could help indicate if something is fast/light or slow/heavy.

Aside from that, when extending the concept, you could even decide to make it a one-input game where you really have to time the location of your shot. Nice work!

Developer(+1)

Actually I was planning to show  the accurate weight of  animals beside the shooter at the first day. Then I just forgot to add it when I was busy making other features....And I also tried to find a way to indicate that how weight the both side is but temporary I have no idea. It's really a good advice. And thank you for playing!

Hard to find any faults with it.

You used the same assets than me... but your concept is more original, and you polished it better. Well done. :)

I reached 34.

Developer(+1)

I'm really glad to be called original:) To be really original I still have a long way to go. Thank you for playing!

This is a really good use of these assets. This game is delightfully simple, but also compelling. I also like the decision to allow the score to go below zero.

Developer

Yes I made a decision to allow the score go below zero to indicate that "you might play it in a wrong way,Please go to see the rules".And I think its also fun to find a way to stop the score going down.Maybe it can be annoying sometimes.Anyway thank you for playing my game!

Submitted

Not really a fan of the genre, but this has an interesting twist to it, so points for that.

Developer

Thank you for playing!
