I struggled with the game resolution (Too big for regular browser, then going into fullscreen made it blackout), but fixed it by fullscreening my browser with F11.
The game is really cool. Such an interesting concept. At first I couldn't think of a way of keeping it interesting, but you did it with the "Map" thing. Brilliant work!
Thank you for your words!
I'll take the blame for that one, I was responsible for the builds and I was so sleep deprived I forgot changing the output resolution. I just added the fullscreen option on Itchio. It won't put the game on full res, but will at least capture the cursor properly. Sorry about that!
I had a feeling that this game would be -The game- of the jam, and after playing it, and being half-way thru all the jam entries, I still have that feeling. Game is fun, feels great to play, has a fair amount of content... No words, I can tell you're a professional without even checking your profile! Great job (I'll be playing again)
I don't think the exit button works, makes the game freeze haha
I jumped straight into hard mode and it was indeed hard. The concept of loosing the bamboo when using it, and having to plan around picking some more before a fight gives this entry an interesting point. Control feels a bit clunky, but overal I'd say this is a cool jam entry
Okay, hear me out. Leaving the problems I had controling the game on WebGL aside, I feel this is a pretty interesting entry. I feel like the concept is quite original, and even tho the gameplay seems simple for now, I can picture myself playing something like this if it turned into some kind of deckbuilding/roguelike. Something like Peglin or Dungeon Clawler. Never been a fan of smileys so I can't picture them as cute, I don't think this quite fits the theme, BUT, you got my attention with this one. Good job there!
This is a fun concept. I had to really ZOOM my browser in to be able to see anything (I also got stuck in the settings menu once), but after that, I feel like this concept has some pontential. I like the buying skills system, although sometimes they felt not-that-worth using. Nonetheless, I feel like with a bit more though put on the skills and some more juice/feel, this could feel pretty well. Solid for a 10 day jam entry!
Hey there! This is interesting. Obviously, the entry lacks a lot of content (Unless I somehow missed something), but the base you made there feels interesting and promising, I feel like that, with a bit more of development time (Focusing mainly on content), this could make for a good game foundation
Hi!
I've just realised that when I uploaded the PC version of our game, I accidentally put an old mid-development build in the same .zip as the actual build of the submission for the jam (CandyHut.exe being the actual build, Craftpix GameJam Project.exe the old dev test build).
I'd like to re-upload the .zip file containing only the actual build to avoid confussion to anyone that wants to try the PC build.
Would be there any problems? (We still have the WebGL version as required by the rules)
Thanks!
