Man this game is super polished and well made! The combat feels great and it's always suspenseful when your rolling to see if you'll improve a stat that's really low or if it'll get even worse. My one problem is that I wish rounds were longer. The combat is just so fun that I don't like it getting constantly broken up by rolling dice. It gets better in the later rounds where there's more enemies per round. So I guess my issue is just that I want to play the game more. Great Job!

Developer

Thank you so much spending your time on playing my game! I appreciate the nice words you've said and hopefully I will continue developing this game after this jam ends.

i love the paper look and feel of the art! we had similar ideas in altering stats for each round, so im partial to that aspect haha. great work!

Developer

Thank you so much for playing <3 Very cool that we had the same idea for the altering stats per round mechanics lol

It has an unbelievable amount of quality for a jam game! Combat system feels flashy and satisfying, and theme is implemented in a creative way.

Thank you so much, i'm glad that you liked it  <3

A ton of really good ideas here. I especially love that both you and the enemies get your stats modified. It feels really good when you get a massive damage boost or the enemies gets slowed down a ton. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing and I'm glad that you liked the game's mechanics <3

Hands down one of the better games for this jam’s top roster, good luck mate!

Developer(+1)

Thank you and also good luck to you too <3

The combat system feels nice. But I would have wished that the enemies would also make melee attacks. Since I couldn't see exactly when they attacked me and then I mostly got hit. Anyways, great submission though.

That would be a nice addition to the game, might implement it after the jam  Anyways, thank you for playing my game <3

So far, enjoyment wise:

This is most definitely the sickest game I have played so far this jam.

You deserve a top 50 result with this easy. Art-Style and animation fit perfectly gameplay wise it's also one of the most fun, and while the control scheme is nothing new, the way you implemented the dice was the best one I have seen yet.

If this had more enemy variety, more dice buff/debuffs, and maybe some kinda meta progression system, I would 100% buy this as a released game on Steam. Hope you see the same potential in it as I do!

Thank you and noted <3

Really fun game. I wish there was more.

The only minor nag I have is that at first I was dodging the health and stamina pick ups flying towards me because I thought they were projectiles.

Other than that, it was a really enjoyable game. Loved the music!

Developer(+1)

If only i had much more time, i could have added more. I'll try to change the health and stamina picks up to make it more friendly looking. Thank you for playing <3

Very fun game, though some more feedback for getting hit would be nice.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll note that down.

Thanks!

Nice artstyle, and quite engaging gameplay. I like the concept with buffing/debuffing either enemy or player at random. Challenge wise it's on the easier side, and the debuffs don't have too big of an impact, otherwise well done.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing <333
