Very fun and creative idea! But if there was an opacity of the houses when the dice was inside them, it would be a totally perfect game!

Very fun game and unique little twist for the theme. Levels were all well designed too!
Man, that was a cool game! I liked the idea of the dice rolling mechanic, and the golf mechanic is a lot smoother than the other golf game I played in this jam! the cube-shaped golf "ball" was giving me trouble though, especially with going out of bounds. Because of the shape of the ball, its very easy for the ball to bounce off the green and jump over the border. for that reason, I would have probably raised the border a bit.
Also, some of the jumps don't work too well, it feels like its necessary to either get the power shot or the jump shot to do them. There was this one level where there is a bifurcating path and a jump on the right side. because there is a descending ramp on the other side, I got stuck and couldn't easily recover other than by managing to jump the gap again and coming back, since the respawn would force me back on the ledge with nowhere to go.
I really enjoyed the gameplay and concept! Well done on submitting!
Thanks for the feedback.
I agree with what you're saying here. Towards the end of the jam I was rushing to get the game finished, so there's still a lot of issues with the physics and level design etc. It's something that I'll address in a post-jam update. There are many changes that people have suggested that would make the game a whole lot better.
I appreciate you taking your time to play :)
This game is fun and chill, and the core mechanic is implemented well. Great stuff!

I agree, the fact the ball doesn't bounce of the edges like in normal golf is the one thing I wish I could have improved on. It would have made the game so much better.
What I have gathered from all the feedback is that everyone loves the jump shot. I don't think I want to lean into it more, rather I want to create more effects that are just as fun use.
Thanks for playing :)
It looks great. The idea of the power ups is amazing. It's a fun way to mix up golf.
Really smart idea! Haven't seen any other golf games in this jame yet. Had a lot of fun with it too. Awesome job!
Cool game! It is especially satisfying when you can skip parts of the level with your powerups (looking at you jumpshot)!
I love the fact you integrated a lot of lil tricks you could do if you were lucky enough to get power ups. Definitely would play a whole game like this, amazing job! Also the minimal kinda graphics and the subtle sound effects makes it weirdly charming!
On hole 5 I launched the die over the wall and down right next to the hole.... was awesome to skip the entire level with a "skill" shot. Very well done game!
I really love this game (I managed to finish), really clever levels and I love golf, props!
Positive feedback:
- Love the little clap reaction!
- Tons of fun and clever take on the theme!
- Creative use of the theme, love that the game is a dice rolling.
- Controls feel good.
- Impressive amount of content!
Critique:
- Would have liked more crazy/fun buffs than debuffs.
- Tend to get the same buffs as the dice rolls along a single axis.
Pretty fun concept! I think if you were to expand on this, some more modifiers would really make this a good time. Maybe you could even have different dice to choose from when making your shot, with different modifiers on each, making it slightly more strategic. Overall good work!
