This is so fun and creative! Loved the art style and the music. SFX are great too, but I think they're a bit loud in the mix.
Great job
Thanks!
And yeah, there are definitely a few sound effects I'd like to rebalance.(And of course add sound/music volume options later)
I love the art, great job :D
Thanks! the artist really did an awesome job!
I was at the last guy with 3/3, 3/3 and 2/3 repaired when I died but then I realized that the game saves from the last time you were at the bartender ๐คฃ. Good stuff! Red jack was a bit confusing at first but I got it after a while.
I'm sure that made the game a lot more tense. ๐
Redjack was a bit of a mistake in how it was implemented, a lot of people struggled with that one.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. ๐
Oh what a fun game! The mini game system is very cool and the graphic universe is very nice. GG !
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. ๐
Wow, this art is looking amazing! *-*
Also, the gameplay is very fun and easy to understand, and the little story makes a great addition to the whole game. Just missed a little bit more of evolution as we advance in game - some more mini games, maybe. Btw, are you brazilian? Wesley is a pretty common name here haha
Anyways, awesome job and awesome presentation!
The artist really went all out! ๐
I'm glad you enjoy it, and we've been talking about how to improve the progression for the game after the jam is over.
More mini-games, harsher difficulty curve, etc.
Also, no I'm not Brazilian, I'm Canadian. ๐(Sorry. ๐ )
Very good art and game!
Thanks!
Love the different minigames, the gameplay fit the theme nicely. Great work!
Ty! :D
The minigames were neat! I actually think that the later versions of spin the wheel were easier! My brain couldn't focus on more than 1 green :P
That's really interesting feedback.
I was thinking about making it a single wedge, and as you upgraded that cabinet it made the wedge smaller. ๐ค
Fun game! I was eventually able to beat it! I love the different minigames!
Many thanks!
I liked how there are different mini-games and enemies. reminds me of the cubhead
Glad you enjoyed the game! ๐
We got some inspirations from cuphead's theme for sure. ๐
What a cute game! The combat system works pretty well and didn't feel specially RNG-based or repetitive. The art and music were also on point. Great job!
The artist and musician did such a good job that I really had to step up to keep pace. ๐
I'm glad you enjoyed the game. ๐
I always get the same enemy I got first in a section.
Also, what is the point of having 3 types of enemy if they play virtually the same ?
Aesthetic reasons, we were gonna have them do diff things but that would take far too much time
So polish game, but the first time I met a glitch, the ball just stayed at the top. But overall very enjoyable to play with.
Ty :D sry about the ball glitch, thatll probably get patched after the jam
Amazing.
You managed to remove the RNG nature of a game about rolling dice.
Looks great too.
One of my favourites so far :)
Ty! :D we tried to make it a mixture of skill based and rng based so im glad it played that way
Super polished and creative game to match the theme. I liked how two of the games were very luck based, to further match the theme. I found the spinner way too easy, but dropping the ball was too hard (that's just me being bad haha). Very nice graphics and all, well done.
Thanks! The artist and musician really went all out for this game. ๐
I kept going back and forth with the spinner on speed. I had it way faster mid development, but maybe the answer for that is to make the spin speed faster as you progress in the game. ๐ค
Looks great, plays great, sounds great. Really enjoyed this!!
Thanks!
Roll the dice to determine the minigame which determines if you hit or miss.
The presentation looks great. Good music. The sounds are good, but I can see room for improvement.
It feels like the dice rolls are not all that important for gameplay. You could remove the roll mechanic entirely, and just give us a random game to play.
Thanks for giving the game a shot.
The dice roll mechanic was largely to stay on theme with the jam, maybe instead though we could have included a fourth minigame that included dice rolling in some way. ๐ค
Dope.
Thanks.
As others have already said, more mini-games would have been better as it becomes repetitive real quick. Because of the time constraints of the jam, it is understandable not to add more mini-games. I love the idea though, it's like a little Wario Ware just with dice. I also think the difficulty curve is very pleasant. Love the sprites and animations. Great job on this submission, really impressive.
Thank you!
I just helped with hosting a gamejam with "wario ware" as the theme, so I just realized that might be where the inspiration came from, now that you mentioned it. ๐
But yeah, I would have loved to have time to make a total of 6 minigames, or at least 2 different version of the 3 existing one, to spice things up. ๐ค
Nice game! Only the bad thing was the minigames being very repetitive in my opinion. Good story, graphics and sounds!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
And yeah, if I had more time, I would have loved to implement some different mechanics to the minigames or just shake them up in some way as the game progressed. ๐ค(Other than just making them numerically harder)
