Took me a while to play this one but I'm happy I played it in time! It controlled really well, it was simple but fun. The art is stylized in a good way too. There's many ways to go from here with this game if you want to pursue it further. Things like more places to explore or more landmarks to uncover in this planet. Maybe add some lore into it. But if you want to leave it as it is, a fun simple game it's already in a good place :^D. Really enjoyed it, Good job on this one!

Developer

Glad you finally got around to it! Thanks for all the feedback

Love the vibes of this game! Really like the floaty feeling and the jetpack!

I wish I could be propelled by the tornado x)

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you like the floaty feeling I was worried the low gravity would annoy players.

Yet another person requesting tornadoes to lift you up XD I've already added it for the next build.

Thanks for playing!

Absolutely amazing game. I liked it a lot. Nice little story. I want more! :)

Thank you!

nice game. Managed to play it through. I like the look and the atmosphere of the game. was quite relaxing. The sounds was a bit harsh for my ears I would say, but not a major issue. I've noticed a lot of people mentioned they wanted to fly up with the tornados so I'm gonna add myself to that statistics as well ;D the jetpack was a really good feature. took the game to another level. Well done!

Awesome thank you for letting me know your thoughts!

Very nice game. Visually cohesive environment, character from the skybox down to the UI and font. I wish the jetpack was easier to find, and there was more vertical elements to explore, maybe floating islands with radio towers on them? Kind of reminds me of "Grow Home" :)

Great job!

Developer

Thanks Ismael, appreciate the kind words!

Sweet little game with a nice story! Love the little astronaut, glad we got to help him get home! I spent quite a bit of time platforming at the base to get to the roofs... then I found the jetpack! haha that would've come in handy .. I should've explored more first! Well done for making a cool game! :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for enjoying it enough to try out some platforming! I noticed it was possible to get to the roofs without the jetpack bit didn't think anyone would be so invested to notice. So that's a big compliment from you :D cheers

It's nice you were able to add an intro and outro animation. The art is great and the game feels like a complete game. Great job!

Thank you a lot :D

We didn't understand how to fly, so parkour with stupid bugs. They were hammering on the space and our character was flying on the walls. xD

Developer

Haha thanks for giving it a go!

Nice!  I love the intro and the inner dialogue explaining the game.  The atmosphere is great and I love the character.  One idea if I may add, would be for the tornados to lift you up high in the air.  It would be a fun mechanic but also allow the player to scope out the region to figure out where more parts are.  This was fun!

Developer

Quite a few people have wanted the tornadoes to lift you up - I regret not adding that! Silly mistake on my behalf.

Anyway thanks heaps for playing!

That was really nice. Good looking, but since it's kind of linear maybe a bit of text here and there would've made it more lively, maybe communicating with someone on Earth, I don't know.
Or just, some kind or harder platforming or obstacles at some point.
But I'm nitpicking, that was cool, congrats!

Developer(+1)

Originally I was going to also have 3 communication towers you needed to reactivate to contact Earth but I ran out of time. And I was going to put some harder platforming or hide the pieces more but I wasn't sure what would be too hard and I wanted everyone to experience the whole game beginning to end.

Thanks so much for play and the feedback :)

I wasn't expecting to see a collectathon game. It's very pretty, but I wish there were more sound effects in the game. Love the dust tornadoes, they add a lot to the ambiance, even if they don't pick you up. Maybe to lean more into the "connection" theme you could have made the player power up this outpost we crash near and make a literal connection to the spaceship to refuel it or recharge it, but that might be overscoping it... Beautiful game, though!

Developer(+1)

yeah it was hard to scope - originally I was going to also have 3 communication towers you needed to reactivate to contact groundcontrol/Houston. Ran out of time! I may continue with development in the coming days/weeks and see where things go. Thanks for the feedback!

Nice little game! It was really fun jetpacking around. The art style was good and the controls felt pretty decent. I will say though that the camera controls felt just a tad floaty to me, and for whatever reason my mouse was still enabled while playing which made for the cursor going kind of all over the place. Not sure if that was just my set up though. Overall, it was a fun experience though!

Thank you for the feedback!

Very moody and atmospheric. I enjoyed jumping around with low gravity. Headphones on ofc! I am curios for more!

Thank you so much for checking it out! 😊

Amazing visual but i didn't get the connection to the theme

and i hope you add more levels overall a nice game.great job!

Developer

I didn't spell it out in the dialogue so it wouldn't be too cringe but it's about connecting the spaceship parts back to the ship and also him feeling disconnected from his home and wanting to get back.

Thank for check it out! 😄

Gorgeous visuals and presentation. I had a heck of a time figuring out how to use the jetpack, as there wasn't much instant feedback for the controls. But, eventually I figured out I had to hold space and not use an alternate key (which feels good, but wasn't my intuition).

Once I had a handle on movement, I enjoyed collecting all the missing parts then watching the ship fly off the planet. Nice work!

Developer

I'm glad you figured it all out - thanks for the effort on your part for that!

Great game fun and simple with cute animations! Great job!

Developer

Thank you! <3

Awesome visual! I got cheated by the tornado, thought that I could ride up and fly. But still got the jet pack to fly

Developer(+1)

I considered it when I added them and then quickly moved on to other things. Quite a few people have mentioned that now and I regret not adding it as it would have been super easy to so 😭 haha thanks so much for playing

Very cute game. The most peak experience i had was when i got the jet pack.

Not sure its connection to the theme connections. But I think It's well put together and a simple game.

What would I like to see ?

  • More interactions.
  • Some space bgm will make the experience nicer
  • sounds from interactions

I believe the small details always elevates any game to the next level. Just like the tornados. hehe

Overall good job !

Developer(+1)

Thanks! It's vague but it's about connecting the spaceship parts back to the ship and also him feeling disconnected from his home and wanting to get back.

Thanks for the feedback!
