I thought the game was funny. But the size of the player's hitbox makes it much harder and makes it less fun.

Good game, some of the collisions with the wall and the autoscroll felt buggy, I couldn't tell if they were intentional. But the game was very stylized and had lots of personality.  Though I will say the sound effects felt kind of distracting from the music. Good job overall though.

While I think some of the enemy placement was a bit unfair at times (at least for the size of the bullets and the fact that you can't really shoot downwards or upwards) and the boss fight just feels too long even with the fact that your damage increases over the course of the fight (I'm sorry I couldn't get through the boss), I think this game is actually pretty fun! I really enjoy the surreal aesthetic and the music, and I definitely appreciate the effort put into that. Bonus points for including cats :p

A crazy game which made me have a smile on my face while playing it the whole time so i can't really ask for more, thanks for that :)

The surreal cat and glitch aesthetic is pretty neat, however as for gameplay I had a number issues:

  • The player’s massive hitbox and physics/momentum makes it very hard to dodge.
  • Being able to shoot behind yourself seemed inconsequential, so I ended up just holding the lock button the whole time while shooting so I don’t accidentally turn around when backing up.
  • The boss’ health bar didn’t seem to work, so the first few attempts I thought I wasn’t doing damage at all.
  • I died seemingly at random a few times during the boss even while at moderate health.

Fun little game but it feels quite unfair at points (mainly because of the hitbox that is too big)

I have some issue concerning the sfx, that are too repetitive, and sometimes too loud. Also the game over music is clipping. Other than that it's pretty cool!

What do you mean by game over music clipping? Is it starting to early?

Also I've heard the ones about the hitbox and sfx a lot, I'll definitely be looking out for them in future projects!

Hey! That's okay. It kinda feels intentional. It totally matches the completely chaotic vibes of the rest of the game. As weird as it sounds, it feels cohesive with other parts ahah

Fun game, I really liked the art and the bullet patterns.

It just had a couple of issues.

- The hitbox for the cat feels far too big, and it often feels like you couldn't have dodged certain attacks

- The same sound effects are repeated a lot, and they're loud enough that it becomes hard to hear the music, which is a shame because I actually really liked the music.

- Also the boss's health bar didn't work properly for me during the fight. It wasn't until the death screen where it would update.

The healthbar is kind of a huge fuck up on my part. It actually does work, but you're dealing exponential damage. So n the beginning you're dealing 1 damage and in the end 150. So the healthbar shows you dealing 1 damage, wich does absolutely nothing at all...

But thanks for your thoughts! This will help me improve my future projects.

I love shmups <3, yours is particularly fun and funny, the sound of the "catshots" is very funny, good job. The scenarios are very tight, I would like to see a scenario with more space to maneuver, the towers that are behind are very difficult to kill too, but nothing that spoils the fun.

I appreciate the unique aesthetic! Also... is that the Minecraft glass break sound effect? lol

The one criticism I have is that having to turn and move toward the enemy to shoot at them feels a little strange... maybe allow the player to aim with the mouse. Good game overall!
