Game Description
Take advantage of the ephemeral heart to bring back to life the one you love

How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is based of ephemeral hearts, that are extremely fragile. If you get hit by anything, the ephemeral heart will break. The enemies are clones, that are alive by the power of ephemeral hearts, what make than a huge, but fragile, horde

Really like everything about it. It concludes nicely too!

Really reminded me of jetpack joyride from the start

Developer

Thank You! :)

Great game! Love the art and audio, and the theme usage is great. Kind of weird that a significant number of enemies would just walk off of ledges to their death.

Developer

Thank you. Yes, I have no time to change this, the A.I is something I didn't spent to much time unfortunately :/

Absolutely stellar audio and visuals as mentioned before here. I enjoyed this game a lot though, really interesting little take, and I'm impressed you were able to get an export for Android in time, that takes a lot of effort! I really liked this, you should definitely expand it afterward if you have time/energy.

Thank you so much. I'll keep my studies in this project, if I got something good I'll update the page :)

That was really fun to play through. Visually are really good, and the retro audio matched well. The ending is nice too. About the only part I struggled with was the jumping (and falling to my death having to go back to the start), but got used to it in the end.

Hearts can be very fragile, so great take on the theme!

Developer

Thank You, nice coincidence we play each other games in the same time, haha

really beautiful, and nice music! highly impressive game for one person and a first jam! :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I was so eager to join the jam. At first I thought I could not finish, but I learned a lot and put myself together and I'm happy with the results, glad you like it

Interesting and fun play experience. The art and music paired well with it. Great team effort! I agree with Thoof on more checkpoints in the future- especially after you make it past a whole herd of enemies.

Developer

Thank you. Glad the music fit so well, I got the sounds in the last time, did everything else by myself :). I'll take notes for checkpoints, maybe I update the game in the future.

Liked the art and music. Could have used some checkpoints in the levels but I did end up finishing the game :)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback. Glad you finished :)

Really nice game. I found the graphic nice and the music really good, who wrote the music? I didn't complete the game as I found there were not enough checkpoints. I need to test the android version to see how it looks like. I would play this game again.

Developer

Thank You! I Got the musics in the last minute, I almost upload without any sound, I'm glad they fit well, some sounds I got in the Freesound others in the Fesliyanstudios.

  • Harp Loop at the end: AFallingBrick
  • Start Music and Boss Music: David Fesliyan
  • Levels Music: David Renda

Good game. Theme interpretation is original. Good story and idea. Art & Audio are nice. Menu is part of the game. Checkpoints is a good addition. Enemies a bit week & stupid. Level is a bit dull. Boss fight was fun.
It can grow to a full game imo.

Developer

Thank you, you said everything, I wish I could make a better I.A for the enemies, and a more diversified levels, It's my first time and I spent a lot of time in things that was not so important.

Great little game! I finished it and thought it was a lovely story.

Developer

Thank you!

Very good graphics and I was intrigued by the opening but there was such a low margin for error with the controls (the jump is really fast and barely makes it to each platform) that I didn't finish it.

Developer

Tank you for giving a try, I could make the controllers a little better and the jumps are indeed at the limit, I take note for the next time.

Wow the art and world building is superb here! The sprite work, the red lights, the little smoke vent particles, loved it!

Controls are tight and the game was pretty difficult. Loved the boss and the ending too.

Developer

Tank you, I tried a little bit of everything I'm learning, and was super fun to make :)
