In what way does your game fit the theme?
As you navigate deeper into the Vault you gradually release more Wardens, making the level's harder to navigate and unleashing their slumbering evil into the world. (The theme is addressed more by the games tone than the gameplay).

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the art and code is from scratch. SFX and music are Creative Commons.

What an interesting game! It would've been nice to have stuff like a menu and some settings, as well as a basic tutorial or something. The sort of grid movement is also quite interesting and nice, and overall everything is quite well polished. The art is also really quite nice looking, and simplistic as well. The music and sound effects (even though they're not made from scratch) are also quite nice, but more music would also be quite nice.

Personally, the game didn't fit the theme too much, and the game mostly seems like one of those turn based puzzle games or something. Still, the game overall is nice and beautiful. If this jam was more about puzzles, then damn this would've and actually should've gotten good ratings xD

Really interesting game - the art is absolutely beautiful! The puzzles were quite tricky but in a good way! I think maybe a quick reset button or something would be helpful for when you realize you are going to run into one of the Wardens. Overall, I really liked it, awesome work!

If you have the chance to rate our game as well, we would really appreciate it! Thanks! :)

daaamn, the best puzzle I have played on this jam no kidding, game works fluently, puzzles are bit hard yet not impossible and very well fought, definietly I would like to see a bigger game out of it! Graphics really works well here great job!

from cons I saw here:
- when I was on the final level in the meantime music stopped playing probably loop ended or something,
- player is bit too slow, if you make mistake and want to repeat over and over it's getting boring by that
- game is too short! :P

Hey,  great game! Interesting puzzle mechanic, but sadly when I hit Esc thinking there would be a restart option, the game quit. I think I went to stage 4 or 5 and really liked it. Doesn't feel like it fits the theme for the jam, though. But it is really good, just add a menu on pressing Esc with a restart level option, and also save the progress so we can continue from where we left. Keep it up!

I would also really appreciate if you could play and rate my game, I'm looking for feedbacks! Thanks!

Such an amazing game and a cool concept! Only thing I wish is that there was a restart button to restart faster and the movement could be a little smoother and faster but it was an overall very good result! Only thing that i noticed but you also adressed was that the tone of the game is chaotic and it doesn’t transfer to the gameplay that much but yeah, a pretty good overall game!

Cool puzzle game. Absolutely loved the art.

Could maybe be improved  with a quick  "redo"  button for when you get stuck, and slightly faster movement?

Cool puzzle overall

I love the art of the game, and dayum that character seems like a cool boy. Its feels a bit "empty" tho maybe its what you wanted, but its lack a bit of maybe noise background with some winds or I dont know

and yeah I don't feel the connection with the theme either

Very nice and a bit difficult puzzle game. I like the art style overall very much, but I'm missing the connection to the theme a little bit.

Very interesting idea for for a puzzle game. The puzzles were properly challenging without being difficult to the point of frustration which made it very enjoyable to play. The Art, Character animations and music were really good.

I would have liked a bit of a tutorial but I figured it out pretty quickly and I like the aspect of learning through gameplay trial and error.

Great work!

Please check our game out too!

I love this game. It's like a game called Helltaker. The puzzles are hard enough to make you think, but not so hard that you get frustrated. The art style is great. It reminds me of a game called Celeste. I finished the game but cheated a bit. On the last level, I stood on the exit plate, but at the same time was noticed by a robot / demon. It's a shame that you only have 9 ratings. This game deserves more recognition.

I enjoyed the experience! Good choice of music, animations and character designs are cool. Could benefit from a bit more chaos. Also the pause between moves makes it safer, but slower paced as well.

Great work

well, how this game is chaotic?

Developer

It's a looser take on it, obviously it's hard to create a puzzle game whilst sticking to the letter of this theme! In the game you have to release the monsters into the level to progress, with the increasing number of monsters representing an increasing amount of chaos. The monsters clearly don't behave very chaotically to allow the game to work, but this concept of releasing monsters to progress is how I came up with this concept from the theme.

From a narrative perspective the idea is you are waking long slumbering guardians whilst you progress deeper into the Vault, and subsequently unleashing these horrors out into the world. This isn't really communicated, as adding dialogue tends to be pretty low down the list on a jam game, but you can take that as the hidden chaotic lore!

Nice! Had to use my brain with this one. =D Clever idea for a puzzle game... Enjoyed it!

Nice idea, amazing level design and art. It's hard to implement chaos as a theme when it comes to puzzle games, but other than that, the game looks and feels amazing, great job!

This game deserves more ratings than it has!

Really great atmosphere, I especially like the graphics, the puzzles are very interesting, I didn't think it'd be possible to make a chaotic puzzle game but the release of the enemies as you progress the level is genius!

The only thing I didn't realize immediately is that the enemies follow you only if they are in line with the player.

Is it just me or I can feel a very Journey vibe in the game?

Great work!

Very pretty and cool atmosphere! I think an undo button would make the experience a lot more smooth but perhaps a bit too easy. Could have limited undos or something like that?

Really fun puzzles, the screech from the bad guys really freaks you out. Good music as well. nice job.
