Wow! I'm impressed by the way you managed to get paths to be traced out with a cursor like that!

I like the visuals, and the game feels remarkably polished overall!

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing.
Yes that path looks really nice.

Nice game! I didn't get very far, it was fairly difficult for me, though I'm sure practice would have made it easier. I didn't read the tutorial carefully enough, and initially assumed that landing zones were determined by color. Not sure if you'd consider doing this, but sending the blue ship to the blue pad would eliminate the need for me to wait and look for  the flashing part.

Overall, nice art, sound, and polish.

Developer

Thanks a lot playing.
Yes to make it a bit more Chaotic we purposely made it go to the other landing zones. The original idea was orange to orange.  Flashing part could be more visual.

Fun Game. Reminds me of old flash games I used to play. Calm at first, challenging the next minute.

Music is quite apt ngl.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing.
Yes, that was the idea. Easy at start but time makes it more difficult.

This reminds me of an old phone game! I forgot what it was called, but you had to get the planes to their right place without having them hit each other. Tons of fun and super nostalgic :')
Think you can try out our game? You might like it quite a bit!

This was really fun to play on stream! There was an initial learning curve (I don't remember the tutorial mentioning that the correct dock for each ship flashes, but maybe I was being slow) but once you have the hang of it the gameplay really works! The clean graphics are a good fit for the gameplay which could otherwise become too cluttered. Perhaps you could add an upgrade mechanic for the base or ships if you continue working on the game?

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing the game.
Yes, we do plan to work on this post jam. We are currently taking in ideas and user feedback.

Very simple yet efficient idea. The fact that you need to prevent the ships from collide each other by thinking about their path and their speed add a lot of depht to the game and work well with the theme.

At first I thought that the ships' landing zone were of the same color than their respective ships but that's apparently not the case. I didn't notice the zones were glowing a little when you click on the corresponding ship.

Overall, an amazing game !

Developer

Thanks for playing the game.
Yes, the ships landing zone highlighted. We should have made it even more clear.

This game does not look like it was made in 7 days, the UI looks so good, all the ships and other sprites are so well made. the game is also really fun. Its so cool that you added the homebase and frontline options. I think it would the only thing that would make it better is to have some audio feed back while drawing the paths, not that it is required but it would be a great addition. Great job :D

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing.
I liked the audio feedback for correct paths.
The game is actually made in 60 hours.

Cool game! It was pretty hard and I think it needs better player feedback on where things needed to go, for example, a large round highlight at the docking station you need to connect the ship to. I think having a pause button so that you could plan routes and then having visuals of where ships will collide would be good.

I would say to play something like mini motorways for inspiration if you have not already.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for checking out our game and the feedback.

Regarding highlighting where the ship has to land, when you have a ship selected it's landing zone will flash(clicking and dragging on it). The effect is a bit too subtle to notice right now. we are planning add a more visible highlight effect

As for having visuals where ships will collide we will think about it but I feel it will make the game a bit too easy. there is already an indicator when ships are about to collide.

Regarding the pause button there is already one in the game. But I think you mean without the panel so you could see where your ships are going. we will definitely consider this too.

Submitted(+1)

Yeah, I noticed the indicators you mentioned but I think you could make them even more noticeable.

I think that the game right now is difficult because of the time pressure since you cannot pause and make paths but I think it would be more interesting as more of a moving puzzle where you are trying to make sure stuff does not collide. So while adding better indications may make avoiding collisions easier, the real difficulty will be having so many space ships it's hard to find a solution where they do not collide. You could even add a timer to the ships where they need to get to the port in a certain distance or else they will starve or something to add more difficulty.

All just my opinion on what I think would be fun though based on playing mini motorways lol.

Developer(+1)

This is a very nice suggestion.

Awesome work! I enjoyed the music. What is it from?

Developer

Actually we just had to find royalty free music online because we couldn't find a sound engineer.  here's the link if you're interested :

very good idea but i think it would be better to make a tutorial wihle playing.

Developer

Thanks for playing.
We did add an instruction manual, though tutorial is something we will add post jam.

Really enjoyed making this game.

Very cool idea, I felt the gameplay didn't feels very intuitive at first so maybe that something you could work on but overall very interesting idea and fun game :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing
We should add a tutorial first?
We do have a instruction manual page.
