Good execution of simple but powerful concept. Reminded me of Rick and Morty episode

Developer

Thank you ^-^

Liked it a lot, cool idea! It reminded me to a Rick and Morty episode :P I like how you managed to make the Ai behave differently depending on if you shoot or merge. I chose shooting because I found merging to be hard :P It would make for a funny multiplayer game now that I think about it.

Just curious, is there a limit of levels? I think I played a few levels in a row with 9 dimensions. Also, sorry I didn't came in time to rate this despite you rating my entry, I noticed your comment one minute before the end of the ratings:(

Developer

Thanks for your feedback ^_^ I am just glad you liked it.

"Morty! He's trying to kill us instead of merging!" "What are we gonna do?" "Kill him first!"

Really nice concept, and a well suited "Portal" kind of color palette and aesthetic.

I was a little bit confused as to which dimension you'd be shooting or merging into.

Developer

Thanks a lot ° _^ You are shooting in every dimension at the same time.

Good one! Would like to hear different sound-effect, but it's okey. Still stylish and playable :P

Thank you for your feedback :D

A little bit confusing but after that it become very entertaining to play :D Good job! The moving belly animation while they lay down is hilarious xD

Developer(+1)

Thank you a lot. You are the first person to actually notes. °_^

Those kind of things add a lot to the games ;-)

Great game concept, very innovative. I also liked overall aesthethic of your game. Nicely done, good job! :)

Developer

Thanks :D I am glad you liked it.

I actually really like the way the screens move, I thought that felt great! I actually tried to sync as much as possible, it might be cool to have some enemies that you either have to kill or have to sync with, so that you're forced to do both in the level. Really interesting idea though, great job!

Developer

That is a great idea! Thank you very much for your feedback ^_^

Interesting concept! Kinda like a 2D version of the game "Screencheat". Syncing was pretty hard to do so in the beginning I just shot everyone. I did get the hang of it eventually. The way the other screens move when one of them is turned off tended to mess me up, not sure if it's on purpose.

We are working on the disorientation problem. Thanks for your feedback :D

I’m not a fan of the beeping sound that speeds up but otherwise, very nice concept! Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks :D The beeping sound will be replaced in the new version.

This was an interesting approach to the theme and I really liked it! =D
It was a bit tricky especially when the screens moved but it's still good^^

This was a super cool idea that I can't get enough of! The visuals were really striking and stylish, and the core gimmick was really interesting. I thought it was too cool the way that the AI would change their behaviors based on your actions, and little touches like the camera moving smoothly around to give the feeling of expanding/contracting dimensions was really cool without being distracting or disorienting. I also appreciated that if you died (and I died a lot, lol) restarting the level was quick and painless, so I could build strategies and adjust without having to start from the beginning or suffer a huge penalty. Amazing work and really creative take on the theme!

By the way, we played your game on our stream tonight!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback ^_^ It was very fun to see you guys play our game. By the way there actually is no limit on how many times you can sync, both of you have to stand though.

Submitted(+1)

I like the idea. Quite original.

Developer

Thanks :D

Very intriguing idea! I love the idea of the other self's learning from you and mimicking your actions. I admittedly mostly just shot the clones as syncing seemed to require too much precision.

Developer(+1)

I understand that. We will think of a way to make syncing more rewarding. Thanks for playing and giving your feedback :D

Nice art and great concept.

Nice game.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback ^-^

DAMN! That was tricky X)! But SOOO GOOD! :O

A wonderful idea executed perfectly! Wow. *clapping noise*

It's really easy to get inside the game's atmosphere! When you shoot and you see you're shoot coming out of the void in the other screen, it really feels like your bullet travelled through space and time to reach your target! That's some mindfuck right there! XD

That was a really nice entry! Congrats man! :D

Developer

Thank you very much. I am glad you enjoyed playing the game ^-^

Great concept, I saw there's one other game in the jam that has a similar concept of having to eliminate "yourself".

It's a unique and interesting concept. I think you explored that really well. The game looks and sounds great too.

One thing that made it a bit difficult was the screens moving around as some realities got eliminated. Otherwise really really cool!

Congrats on an amazing game!

Thank you very much for your feedback :D

Such a unique concept! Very mind-bending. The art style is also very pixel-Portal, love it! Could get a little confusing and hard to track at times but that's just my smooth brain. Great entry!

Developer(+1)

Your feedback made me very happy. Thank you very much ^_^

What a great and unique concept! Lovely art style too.

I feel like there should be a greater incentive to sync because that felt a lot harder to do than spamming bullets - something as simple as a score bonus could work but I'm sure there's more interesting solutions out there.

Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! We are working on the multitasking problem of this game, which is responsible for the need of spamming bullets. Which part of syncing did you find hard in particular? I am not disagreeing with you, but we get very different opinions on that, so I was wandering why excatly do you think that. It would be very helpfull if you could let us know. Thanks ^-^

Submitted(+1)

It's not so much that I found syncing hard, I just found it more difficult than shooting; probably because it requires more precision. I've since read the description and realized that playing aggressively increases the difficulty and vice versa, and while that is definitely interesting thematically, I didn't really feel like it had much impact as a player. When syncing, do you have to match the pose as well as the position?

Developer

Thank you for answering so quickly :D No you don't have to match the position. You both just have to stand at the same spot.

Submitted

Ah, that's good to know. I found myself instinctively trying to face the same way and match the aiming direction when I was trying to sync, maybe that's why I found it more difficult.

Developer

Interesting.  We will add it to the tutorial. Thanks ^_^

Submitted(+1)

This one took a bit to wrap my brain around, often I felt like I just got lucky when I won. But it's a really great concept, the game has a lot of polish. Really nice work!

Developer

Thank you for the feedback :D
