Magnet mechanic... never seen that one before! Quite well executed too!

Cute characters and a cool main mechanic. Definitely has a lot of potential for future expansion!

Very fun game.

1, If the characters don't change expressions or animate. They should at least wobble or scale as a moving effect.

2, The levels were easy and short, please make more levels.

3, Maybe some more mechanics might make the game better.

Besides those, fun game.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

Developer

Thank you so much for your advice, they are all noted! I like the idea of animating the character, it will bring much more liveliness to them :D I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thanks.

The physics feels very weird. I think this type of mechanic would have an amazing potential if it felt much more responsive. It would also benefit from some kind of sandbox level to play around with and get more comfortable with it. Also, I’d like to use the spacebar to change polarity pls!

Aesthetics were cute and the concept has potential. The physics and the controls felt a bit strange for me and I would have liked to seen more levels.

Great concept and execution! The second level took me a few tries, but if felt good to finally beat it. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yeah even as the developer I had difficulties with the second level... that probably says something XD

Very cute and nice concept of a game!

Very polished! Thanks!

solid game, the art is the best part

Very cute! Nice interpretation of the theme! I also like your art! Great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like the art, I spent the most time on that and UI design :D

I like that you took into account the meaning of breaking the theme in addition to upholding it. Made for a nice game!

Developer(+1)

Yes, thank you! In the video GMTK uploaded he mentioned what happens if you break this connection, and so I also wanted to include that as a part of the theme :) I'm glad you enjoyed the game, thank you for playing!

Pretty cool game i enjoyed playing playing it.

Pretty fun! Being able to just switch poles independently and whenever you want is what makes this game interesting, in my opinion. It's a shame there's so few levels, even more when there's so many possible mechanics to explore that would add depth to the whole puzzle aspect of the game, like magnetic walls and whatnot. Still, very neat concept, execution, and graphics :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you found the mechanic interesting :D Actually, I was planning on implementing magnetic walls, but I couldn't get it to work in the time frame so I cut it out. With more time after the jam I am planning on adding many more puzzles that compliment the mechanic! I appreciate your advice, thank you!

Very simple, yet neat concept! The game was very short, and the floaty physics allowed me to beat the last level without having to swap, but for something that had to be made in 48 hours, it's very promising! I do believe you have something you can work with after the jam, if you do wish!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, it's really helpful for me! As of now that's the plan; working on this game after the jam ends and adding a lot more to it!

Loved how you used the idea of repelling and attracting the characters - simple and elegant

Absolutely great job, worked really well and was very satisfying, shame there are so few levels :(

Great job to be very proud of!

That's physics, mechanics are introduced very well without need of tutorial, after few clicks you know what to do! Nice! Though menu click sound is very irritating :<

Developer

Thank you, I'm glad it was easy to pick up for you! Ya I learnt the topic of electrostatic fields, attraction and repulsion and Gravitational fields in physics recently, so this idea came to my mind :D Thank you too for the feedback of the click SFX, I can totally agree with you there!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool concept! Good job

Took me a while to understand the mechanics and how to jump. But I really like the idea. The art and music is also very nice! Good job!

Developer

Thank you so much! I focused most of my time on the art and finding suitable music so I'm glad you liked it! Yeah the mechanic could be pretty confusing at first, I think a tutorial level would help with that :D

Submitted(+1)

Was confused about how you move at first but I really like the art and music combination

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I enjoyed making the art for this game and I also think the music worked great  too :D  Sorry for the confusion at first, I'll definitely make a tutorial level in the future!
