yeah, i got a similar comment about that game before. glad it reminded you of that :)
yeah, i thought of different ways of doing the gameplay since it doesn't really fit the theme that well. one idea i thought of is quite similar to yours wherein you have to actually join pairs together by dragging them closer to each other. that might be a cool gamemode for a post-jam version, maybe. thank you for the feedback :)
