Nice twist on the classic worm game.
Fun to play.

I feel like the map is way too big, making it really difficult to find the salt. I think it'd be a good idea to either make the map smaller or add an arrow indicator that points the player to where the salt is located. Aside from that, I like the gameplay of having to avoid fruit while constantly moving, it definitely gives a different feeling from normal Snake.
Nice twist on a classic game! At first I thought it was too easy, but then I got to level 3 and boy I was wrong :D
Great job!
Hahaha, I really liked the soundtrack!
It was a really fun experience. I never saw such an inverted snake game before!
I have a few small remarks:
sometimes the salt is not picked up while the snake is in it. You have to be perfectly in the center to pick it up.
Sometimes food will spawn exactly on salt.
It could also be fun to spawn the food a certain distance directly in front of the snake, instead of randomly in the field. This way the player can plan his route less in advance and is forced to have a more active playstyle. I would probably do a combination of this and the random spawning.
Overall a great game, great job!
pretty interesting game! the colliders on the food was quite small so the snake had to be exactly in the center of the food icon to pick it up which made it a bit frustrating. Nice submission!
Pretty fun, but very difficult! Later levels seemed near impossible because of the amount of fruit and the lack of salt. Otherwise, this is neat :)
fun when it started speeding up! Bit frustrating because I didn't know if I was aligned with the food or not ,and food kept appearing in front of me, good theme match!
An interesting variant on Snake.
It was quite hard to tell whether or not I was aligned with something, so I often ended up clipping through the edge of a salt pile. Maybe make all the sprites a consistent size?
I don't know what's going on with that music, but I like it :D
try to avoid having collectibles which are being displayed larger than their hitbox. Makes it harder to aim for them than necessary (talking about the salt in this case). Also, avoid having fruit spawn on top of salt, as it makes eating the salt ineffective.
For the rest it is a good, creative gamejam game.
Fun game, fit the topic perfectly! Also like the switch from the classic to remix Für Elise.
Maybe I would either make the salt a bit smaller or the hitbox a big larger. Now I can go over a part of the salt (when it's in "big" state of animation) and not eat it. Otherwise - very well done!
A fun game!
I like the use of the classical music and the switch to "electro-classical" music (if that even is the name). Although the use of Astronomia as the victory song was a bit immersion-breaking.
The game was fun, although it become a litte hard when you get to expert mode.
Either way, good work!
Haha I love the switch in tone of the music. This game is super fun! And I love the simplicity of the idea of backwards snake. I found it super engaging on the third stage, having all these obstacles appearing while you're flying through. This was honestly one of my favorite games of the Jam in terms of fun!
My only bit of constructive criticism is that it starts far too slow. I like that you're introducing the concept, but the intro level takes a looong time even though you start off with only 3 length. I would suggest it more as a tutorial level with a separate option even or try to shorten it even further. I almost stopped playing the game before that first level completed and missed out on the real fun of the game!
Also maybe have the switch in tone be related to how fast you're moving. It doesn't fit super well on the first level for example, but it's a banger for the third haha.
Great job!
Thank you
Yes, a good idea that can be applied in developing the game later. We were going to put a detailed tutorial at the beginning of the game, but we ran out of time, since you have reached the third level, we wonder if you ate yourself because of stress?
Hahaha
Wait for our game Elder's Will, which we will release in late 2021.
