Perfect fit for the topic! I liked the pixel look. One can image that with more time you could take this idea further with different outcomes etc. but you did a great job focusing on your main idea!

Your game is really fun to play! The idea had a really creative twist that worked out perfectly! It was not that easy to make it alive and never hit a robber - but it was a good challenge. Awesome job!

Fun game, fit the topic perfectly! Also like the switch from the classic to remix Für Elise.
Maybe I would either make the salt a bit smaller or the hitbox a big larger. Now I can go over a part of the salt (when it's in "big" state of animation) and not eat it. Otherwise - very well done!

Thank you! At first I placed the camera more traditionally behind/top of the car but I couldn't catch an angle where you can see all the tire, exhaust and engine upgrades on the car so I decided for this side angle. You also go up the mountain with mostly left turns. I felt like it kinda made it less generic with this weird angle.

One of the best submissions I played so far! This is so fun to play. I love how your transformed tree shape forms a new checkpoint.  Really fits well with the topic. The map and the player are very charming. I felt like the blue guys sometimes didn't really react obivous enough to the apples to rely on them for a run in the sun.
Amazing game you made!

Cool game you made! here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-3/rate/939678

Fun mechanic! It was pretty easy to beat but you did a good job! Also had to rename the Data folder.

You made a cool game! Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-3/rate/939678

Cool idea! It was fun to play. Maybe turn down the jump sound a bit. Poor robot mass grave ;)

Good job!

Just played your game - good job! Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-3/rate/939678

You implemented this idea in a cool way. The trail to the player was an excellent idea. I have definitely played a game with this mechanic before but it totally fits the topic.

Great job!

That's a really cool idea it reminded me of the (physical) game mastermind I played as a kid (kind of the same principle with finding the correct order). Sadly I got stuck multiple times on the fight / second story (browser crashed). I really enjoyed your game and it fits perfectly with the topic!

Great job!

Beautiful game! I like the generation idea. The egg sound was a bit weird at first it felt like a bad thing to eat eggs.

Very well done!

Amazing game for such a short amount of time!

Well done!

Love the style and the vibes from this game! It feels polished - I succesfully killed myself ;)

You did an amazing job!

Fun idea! Sometimes the dialog was a bit gone a bit fast for reading while trying to crash into things.

Had fun playing this :P

Very cool style! It felt polished but I didn't find the music fitting.

Great game!

Cool game, really dig the visuals! I didn't really grasp the objective / health mechanic. I just shoot the enemies.

Very wholesome game you made :)

Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/wowie-jam-3/rate/939678

Such a wholesome game :D I had fun playing it - the length was well paced for this kind of game. Very simple but I liked it a lot!

Your game is really good! Very polished! Love the music. Would be could if you could rate mine too.

This game is really relaxing! Great execution - albeit it is ambitious to create a population sim in 7 days. I did find the sun but it was more by luck. But very cool ideas you put into this game. Great work!

Wow this is cool - the gun drop was original :) I always like it when you have buttons instead of a UI menu in VR. Feels a lot more natural. The gun placement in the hand was a little bit odd but maybe that's just me.

Great game!

Worked well on HTV Vive! A lot of cool mechanics went into this game. The player seemed invincible. The combat felt a bit weak but the movement in the world was great!

Cool little game!  Ghosts seemed a bit  too cute to instinctively kill them ;)

Love the art! The game was very polished, throwing felt nice!

Cool game! I really had fun playing it! Sometimes took me a bit to figure it out but it made all sense afterwards. Love the view change when I'm the mouse ;)

Awesome work for one week!

I tried the teleport version since I couldn't move (HTC Vive).

Cool game, but with teleport you're way too fast that the monsters could get dangerous.
The atmosphere felt great! The happy credits scene was fun too :D

Crashes on startup. (HTC Vive)

I only get to the menu and then the play button disappears. (HTC Vive)

This is so cool! Love the art style and the controls feel unique. It would be great if I'd had a bit more control in the movement ex. going reverse or let go of the current target since it's quite essential for some levels.

Fantastic work you did here!

I can only spawn cubes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? ;) (HTC Vive)

I'd be interested in the bindings. I also can't move with Vive.

(1 edit)

Love it! It was really fun to play. The gun mode switch was a bit awkward on Vive wands but I could just remap it to a button. I also never had an use for the removal mode of the gun. I like how the enemies adapt their shots to your height. The level felt cool - spacey scifi vibes ;) When I shot too much the sound started to disappear (maybe too many sound sources?).

Awesome work!

Fun idea - it worked on Vive just the background looked a bit distant.
Maybe something to interact with (with the tentacles) would inhance the gameplay.

It's very original and it looks nice. Good job!

Cool game, loved the idea! I needed some time until I got the controls right but then it was very fun.

Maybe put some low background music or ambience sound. The voicovers were great, it really delivered some aperture science vibes ;)

Would be cool to see you taking this further after the jam.

Sadly I couldn't play it with HTC Vive. After the start the grid is very far away. If i wave my hands sometimes in a weird angle the menu pops in and I can grab in item but after I let go it falls into the void. But looks cool on the screenshots.

I couldn't run it on HTC Vive. I tried the VRJam2020-StickItTogether-03-Rift.zip.

This was really fun playing. The sounds are also fun :P
It really flows with you after you get used to the weapon - just maybe make a more distinctive sound when the power shot is ready.

It would be great if it auto-restarts after you die. After you get the hang of it it gets pretty easy so you could make the later rooms progressively harder (ex. more enemies).

Great work!

Very cool game! The idea is so original!

At first I didn't really know what to do - then I watched your trailers ;)
Maybe hinting the gestures ingame would be nice.

But very well done!
