Cool Game ♥
Check out my game too: D

Visuals pulled me in, dialogue kept me hooked, great game yo!

Like people already mentioned - the dialogue system is real good.

I also like the driving which is why it took me a lot of time to realize I need to lose.

I went the second playthrough and just tried to lose as fast as I can but it didn't seem to matter much. (I had the same dialogue)

Good game!

Developer(+1)

You went for a second play through? That is the best compliment one can get in a jam :)

The dialogs (and the progress overall) is triggered by the amount of crashes you have. So it makes a difference how many objects you hit. But the dialogs themselves stay the same. Different dialogs based on the "score" of the player sounds like a really good idea, we never even thought about it. Random ranting of the other drivers would have been an option, but got cancelled because of the lack of time. I will put your idea on our Trello board for after jam reworking. That would enhance the replayabilty of the game a lot :)

Cool Game. I find the story interesting. Though I felt like sometimes I couldn't move.

Submitted(+1)

The character desings are top notch :D The movement needs a bit polish tho. Other than that i liked how you used the theme great job :D

Note:I would be happy if you could check out my game as well :d

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, yejah the movement problem was recognized to late. It is physics based, what I have never done before (and won't do again in near future xD) so it is harder to get the right amount of steering.
But when we rework the game after the jam, that is the top point on my list ;)

Really sick, i like the dialogue system. Everything is so clean and the visuals are amazing! Great job! (Your game is also pretty similair to mine as I can see haha).

Developer

Thanks for the kind words. I'm happy you had fun.

And yeah we both had a very similar approach to this theme. Crushing things with a car seems to be fun for everyone :D

Like the dialoges and pushing boxes, probably try to get the controls more smooth

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, you are absolutely right and not the only one who dislikes the controls.

And if you don't mind, I quote my response to this from another post:
"We are fully aware of the steeringproblem...but when we recognised it, it was too late to fix. It's because I tried to work first time with physics for the controls, leading to the problem the faster the car gets the harder it is to control.
If we rework the project after the jam, we will change that for sure, to a none physics based steering :D "

Fun game, I love the dialogs although it's kinda hard to read and drive :)

Developer(+1)

Yes that's absolutely right. The trick is to just read and meanwhile don't drive  You can't  loose, so it's ok to loose control over the car.
I tested it with pausing the game during the dialogs, but it destroyed the whole flow.

Very cool. I think the controls could be more responsive, but definitely fun to play.

Nice visuals and music, reminded me of the song the final countown, which is a good song! :) Though I found it more fun to avoid the obstacles to get super speed, but it was fun to then smash into a big obstacle x) Maybe a score could make it more fun to hit the obstacles? :)

Developer

A score counter is on our todo for after jam improvements. But I like the idea of giving some kind of effect to your Playstyle...maybe points based on distance the obstacles fly after you it them. I will put it on the idea list ;)

did i see... a flying dick? Kappa
fun game, i thought it was endless loop, was not expecting a real finish line, game loop feel too short
overall music is awesome, some Final Countdown ripoff and Dance with the Dead vibes, love it :)

Feel free to drop by and roast my game aswell :D

Developer

A dick? :O naaaa, just some tripod motorcycle wich was poorly designed ;)

Submitted(+1)

haha, i mean... i stand by the dick idea xD
as a final insult for effort to lose :)

Developer(+1)

Maybe this was the first item created for the jam and I wanted to dig it in the game...but dick's are even worse than gore in some areas of the world *coughing* usa *coughing* so it is clearly a tripod motorcycle spacecraft thing and no dick ;)

Fun idea! Sometimes the dialog was a bit gone a bit fast for reading while trying to crash into things.

Had fun playing this :P

Developer

Yeah the dialogs,...they were fast in the first place, then we made em slower, then tests showed they are still too fast, then we made em slower,...now they are still too fast...after the jam we'll make em slower ;)
Damn, next time I double the amount of reading time right away :D

Took me some time to figure out what you meant in the description. It gave me a good laugh in the end, nice game! :D

Developer(+1)

Thx, nice to hear you had fun :)
