very cool mechanics, good level of difficulty there and I could see this being expanded into something more :)

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic of the game is switching between controlling your body and your soul. Your body can use a shield to block projectiles, your soul can fly above obstacles and attack. In order to overcome your enemies, you need to use both the powers of your body and your soul - stronger together
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I used Unity's Cinemachine package to make working with the camera easier. Other than that, all textures, shaders, sound effects and music were made from scratch
