Super fun and addicting clicker game. I like how you actually implemented a little bit of action and combat to encourage actually playing the game actively.

At first I was going to saw the game slowed down to a crawl around mile 14, but then I realized you could ascend. After that, I was able to earn my way up to the red deck of cards really quickly. I liked this a lot!

Developer

Awesome! Im really glad you liked it. Haha, some previous playtesters mentioned that ascension is a little OP, so its very well possible to reach the final item tier (there are 20)

Interesting idea! I've never played an "Idle" game before ha!

Developer

They were popular for a while, but the hype kind of died down I feel. Ones I played were Cookie Clicker and Tap Titans

The game was great, we just spent a while playing it and really enjoyed it. After we clicked ascend though, we seemed to stop receiving any gold per second. Not sure what is supposed to happen after that. Great job though, well done!

Developer

Thanks for playing! That's really strange - I never encountered that ascension bug

Submitted

We got to a really high level before clicking ascend for the first time though, not sure if that is relevant. We were in terragold coins level.

Since it has an Idle component I'd love to have a Mute button, so I can leave it on background for a while until I come back.

Game was super engaging and I played for a while, Nice job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, haha, I definitely would have added a mute button, but that would take dev time out of the jam :)

I like this title xDD

Very interesting combination of genres. I like you try to implement it.

Good job!

Developer

Thanks! I'm not very good with names, so I just combined everything.

Really cool idea and game looks fantastic. Only problems I had was that it's kind of unbalanced (too easy) and that I sometimes kinda got stuck and the game bugged a bit. Overall a really good submission though!

Developer

Yeah, I definitely agree. It's difficult to get that sweet spot of balance for this kind of game, because it's an incremental game that is supposed to be played over a long period of time. Hiring a mathematician should would have helped!

I really liked it and became more engaged than I expected.  All the stats were a little overwhelming at first, but I got the hang of it.  This idea would make for a really nice mobile game.

This game was inspired from playing idle mobile games, haha

Very cute clicker / accumulation style game.  The combat felt good with the bouncy knockback going on!   :D

Developer

Thanks! The combat was sort of inspired from Hollow Knight, where you bounce back after every attack.

Submitted

It was very satisfying, good work! :D

Very engaging for an idle game! As someone else already said, the tutorial is well made and seamlessly integrated into the game. The sound design definitely adds a lot as well. Once I was able to ascend once, my income and ascension bonus blew up extremely quickly. Very enjoyable entry.

Developer

Thanks! Haha, balance is definitely a recurring issue with my game. I should take at ascensions again...

The Game is really fun, but I would definitely increase the size of the window where your player is because it's very small right now. I would also probably round the numbers because it changes a lot even tough it only increase by a few cents. (Mathf.Round will probably be a good idea to round to full numbers). For the rest of the game it's very well made and the music is really nice as well, overall pretty good game especially for 48 hours.

Developer

Thanks for your suggestions! Interesting that you would say that. One thing that I considered was not converting the currency to different units at all (i.e. no K, million, billion, etc). This way, it feels like you are making a lot of gold, even though you're not. After reading your suggestion keeping the currency as it is right now was the right choice.

Wow - this game has so nice tutorial - I really like this as in some of the games I just don't know what to do. Very creative way to make a game. Enjoyed it.

Developer

Haha, luckily the point of my game is to be able to be played while idling, so I had text-based dialogue built in! Making the tutorial was pretty quick!

Best game ever, super fun :) Maybe the flying items are a bit too strong

Developer

I tried to playtest my game as much as I could, but balancing is hard in an infinitely progressive game, especially since I had no experience in the genre prior to this game.
