The man is stuck in a level and the level keeps on rewinding itself till eternity.
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes. Some of them I found online and the code I wrote myself with the help of Brackeys tutuorials.

Well done, the movement was solid and the obstacles was difficult but still doable after a few tries. I did miss some sound effects for picking up the golden rings etc. I would have liked some kind of checkpoints so you don't always rewind to the start, but that's just a personal preference.(Or maybe there were and I just didn't have the patience to reach the first :P)

Oof this game is too difficult for me XD this poor guy is gonna be stuck in that spooky dungeon forever :(

This game reminds me of some old flash platformers I used to play on the school library computers. Really good for a first game! With a bit of polish and refinement you could definitely make this a catmario style rage game. Hope you keep working on this after the jam!
I liked the blood on the spikes etc.. it made me feel better for dying so much. As if I could see that other players had failed where I had as well

Beat the game in around 15 minutes (i bet that's a WR 😎). It doesn't look or function the best but it's good enough for a rage game and definitely nice for your first game jam game. I expected it to be just a platformer that you beat when you get to the end but i was surprised when i had to beat the game backwards, the rewind effect made it very difficult to get back, i think it was a bit too much. Also PLEASE dont use the text effect you did in the menu, it looks awful.

Fun game, and great music! I won't mention anything about the hitboxes (as other commenters already have pointed it out), but one suggestion is to stop the music from restarting at death. It's a hard game, so I'd prefer to continue listening to the music even if I die!

Amazing game, love the music, I think the hitbox of player is bit big which makes the game hard sometime, usually it should be smaller than actual sprite

Overall the game was fun but quite difficult. I also felt that some of the obstacles didn't match the area they affected meaning dying sometimes felt unfair.

Hey first of all let me give you some critique. The fonts in the menu become more pleasant on the eyes if they are one solid color, also the pixelsize of your art should be identical to make the image on the screen look more conform. Aside from that also some animations would have been cool for the walking sprites or so. I liked the music and the mechanic, even though some jumps even in the beginning were really hard! The art itself was also nice! Keep it up :)

Very awesome music. I think that the length of different parts of the saw being different makes the chances of hitting it rely on luck. I think that it would be a good idea to make them all the same length but still look different. I just love the music tho
The problem was that the colliders did not match the saw size sometimes. This caused it to be very difficult. But thank you for your feedback.
Nice game. Very difficult at the beginning. Perhaps reduce the number of hazards at first and make the levels more challenging as the player progresses. Keep on coding!
