In what way does your game fit the theme?
The projectile the player has must be rewound to be used again.
Hint: On level 2 check the outer walls :)
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, although music and soundfx are not made by me.

Very interesting concept idea. This could very easily become one of those puzzle games with a simple mechanic, but surprisingly hard puzzles. Right now, it seems very slow and precise. Instead, I would recommend to try and focus on some fast game play and puzzles. Some tips on how to accomplish that would be to add some quick movements for the player like sliding and wall running and especially add an aim assist. A game that uses aim assist would be like the green shells in a mariokart game. I would recommend you look into that. Great starting game and concept for a week!
Those are some good ideas, thanks :)
It was pretty hard and I think I just got lucka at some parts xD Don't know how but it would be nice with a camera that showed the part that you aimed at :)
Thanks for testing, i'm not sure i understand the camera but one possibility could be to display the trajectory of the path when aiming. :)
Yeah I realize it's a weird suggestion. What I meant was a screen in the right corner(or something) that showed where it went but a trajectory is probably a better choice ^^
Nice puzzle game ! The concept is really cool and each level is well designed, the atmosphere is good and I love particle effects. I just have gripes on the game feel, I think controls are heavy. I give you my advices if you would like make a full game :
_ Indicate with wires what buttons do (like portal).
_ increase movement speed and increase a little bit the FOV.
_ Give a bigger hitbox to get back easier the shard and give a more powerful shot.
_ Add more sound effects !
I hope it will help you. I really enjoyed your game, Nice job !
Great feedback, thank you very much :)
The graphics and aesthetics of the game totally blew me away :o
Really happy the look of the game is appealing, thanks for testing it :)
Nice concept, was fun to play around the throwing dart style mechanic :) Some guidelines would make it more interesting, and allow more complex levels in my opinion.
The aiming movement & UI felt quite nice :)
I've noticed some camera bug when moving a bit too fast, and the character getting stuck midair when touching a wall was a bit irritating.
Other than that, really enjoyed experiencing the game mechanic.
Would appreciate if you check out & rate our game as well: https://hadilepanda.itch.io/corewind
Thanks for the feedback :D I will try to replicate the camera bug and see if I can get it fixed :)
I like the nice clean aesthetics and innovation, although it might help to have some kind of texture (like a grid) to help a bit in calculating the ray bounce.
Yeah I would also like to add some kind of texture, add it with the next update :)
I love the simple yet beautiful graphics of the game! I like the challenging puzzles of this game too.
Thank you :D
Once I saw the hint about level 2 this game really clicked, until I got to the third level. These puzzles are hard. But they really lead to an ahhhhh, kinda moment once you solve them.
Thanks for trying it out, and i'm glad the hint helped ^^
I loved the controls and the Idea behind the game , as someone who dose not play first person games when started the game I was WAIT first person !! but i liked it , good job .
thanks, and it was the first time i made a first person game so i'm very happy with the result :)
I liked how as you hit the crystals you got more bounces.
Thanks for trying it out! :)
I had fun playing this little puzzle game! There's definitely a lot of expandability in terms of other puzzles for the reflection mechanic. Cool submission! I had a lot of fun playing it
Glad to hear, thanks for testing :)
the games was fun and i like your take on the theme . overall great game
Thanks :)
The game was really good. I really liked it. However you should lower the sensitivity or at least give an option to reduce it. Apart from that, it was an awesome game. The controls felt good and the concept and mechanics were really good.
Could you please take the time to rate my game too? Its not as good as yours but it would mean a lot to me if you rated it.
Thanks, yes I should definitely have added a small options menu :)
Could you please rate my game too?
Super original gameplay and use of the theme! Great level design too.
Sadly, I got stuck in level 2. The projectile didn't want to bounce on the wall, so I was unable to progress at all. I don't know it's a bug or if I missed something. :s
Loved everything I played though! Congrats!!!
I'm glad you liked it! It's not a bug, you have to check the outer walls first ;)
This game looks amazing and the main mechanic is very interesting and fun. I've never seen anything like it before. Well done :D
I also really like the way you explained the controls within the first level. It feels very natural and clean. I'm probably going to do something similar for my next jam.
I found the last level a bit frustrating though, but the level with the big cube in the center was really cool.
art, visual are aswm man this is aswm!!!
bouncing around the level is soo cool man or women!!!!
Thanks for playing the game! :D
I love games with artstyle similiar to your's so it immediately caught my attention. So... great visuals, good music.
Thank you! :)
It feels nice to throw the shard and make it bounce around the level! Not sure if it's just me, but I experienced severe framedrops when looking in certain directions.
That's strange, although this is my first ever released game with unity hdrp, so performance might not be perfect, in hindsight, maybe a stupid choice but one gotta try ^^ Thanks for playing!
Ngl this game is fun, but imo when the shard is completely rewound it should just return to the player. Having to pick it back up is rather annoying
That is a good point, thanks for the feedback! :D
Btw please continue it, i had a lot of fun playing it. I would LOVE to see this game get to a full release
And I had a lot of fun making it so if people want me to continue the development i most likely will :D
