due to the fact that you wait sometimes to become a caveman, i would appreciatte some type of checkpoint so i don't feel like i'm wasting time starting all over again. i would work in the movement and jump of the character. really welldone graphics

I liked the part where I was fighting the game's cover image.

The boss turning into a bullet hell was a bad choice, considering the movement wasn't fit for that kind of gameplay; it's hard dodging bullets by jumping if I can barely control where I'm going to jump. I also had no idea when I actually hit the cover image, because there was no indicator whatsoever, nor a health bar.

Platforming was okay, except the double and triple jump felt more like "air breaks" than actual double and triple jumps.

The rewind mechanic is also massively underused for the game; it's essentially only mandatory once (at the very beginning when introducing it), and even then it's just the caveman. I only found out the third stage was a cyborg because I specifically went out of my way to see what would happen if evolve too far (spoilers: it's nothing!), other than it wasn't used at all. But I do think the mechanic itself it interesting.

But at least the graphics look nice!

Hi, i've played and rated your game. It's sad that it's a bit short, cause it's really good. Really fun to play. And i really like your artstyle. Well done!

I love the dewind mechanic and the story was creative too, it can be kind of annoying waiting for yourself to age or de-age though, maybe make it faster? Fantastic game though!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, we definitely will take this into account. :D

Thank you for your kind comment, but don’t do yourself a disservice, keep your spirit high!

I think it was a very original idea. The initial double of the caveman was kind of hard for the beginning. The progressive tutorial was spot on! Great graphics as well!

Great game like how you have to regress to a caveman in order to jump higher lol

I like the concept of skills changing and I loved your art! I would really appreciate if you could take a look at my game

It's a cool concept. The timer needs to be tweaked a little though, cause sometimes you need to stand still on the same spot for too long, or walk in circles. Double jumps felt weird too. But still, it was entertaining. :)

Played and rated. I liked the take on the theme! The time required to devolve was a bit long though.

Really liked this take on the theme! Sound design and music are also great! I found the jumps a bit weird at times and the devolving timer a bit too long, but overall a really fun game!

The idea of swapping between the characters in time was definitely a great take on the theme. However I feel like standing in place at times felt odd. With a little tweaking of the mechanic I think it could work well.

I experienced some audio glitches here and there where parts of the music would become desynced with each other. I'm not sure how that could of happened unless you were using some kind of middleware but I think it's worth looking into.

Good work overall!

I found it kinda hard, movement felt off and the jumps were really frustrating in some cases.

Taking that off, the games looks good, and seeing you made it all from scratch, it is a great job!

I really liked the fact that time was binded to swapping different character, but I found myself having to sit and do nothing for way too many seconds in order to go back to the cavemen. I really liked the art style, but the gameplay was quite lacking in general, the movements and controls were not the best. Also, I managed to go throught the whole game without the need to reach the third character.

The concept is interesting, but I think that you should make swapping between different characters more relevant than it currently is. Hope you will improve this with time, good job!

Pretty cool game. I like that the player character changes through the different time phases, it has something of the game "Move Or Die". However, is the game very short or did I miss something? I killed the machine and it was over, I think you could have made much more with the 3 player characters in mind :)
Also, the jumps are a little frustrating, maybe you should make them a little easier.

Impressive how they handle the rewind issue in their game.

Excellent game, please rate mine
