This is a really good core concept! I think if you worked on the level design to make it more dynamic, and add more indicators for how to predict the timing of some of the obstacles, it could be a really complete game.

Nice job! This has a lot of potential. I found that a lot of the game consisted of trying to count tiles - I would create distinct floor tiles to make that easier. I also thought that the levels were too easy to sight read and complete first try. I think it might be interesting to go in a puzzle direction, where you have to figure out when and where you have to use your extra control periods, which I didn't have to do in any of the levels you made. Of course, there are other directions you could take this in. It's a good idea, but the level design needs some work. Great job!

Need some more on hazards, for example the diamonds and spiders came out of no where and so can't accurately plan. The enemies on the grid I feel need to have some way to appropiately plan around without trial and error.maybe like the farmer will only come towards you if it can see you or something along those lines. Apart from that a really good concept and apreciate the pause ability in the controls. May I suggest looking at the board game Robo Rally for some more ideas, that game has a very similar movement idea,

I liked the idea, but I felt like I couldn't predict any of the hazards. I think smaller levels with more complex solutions would make the game more fun for me!

This is interesting and I like the mechanic - I've seen it on board games. However I'm not sure what the fun part is - especially when the obstacles are very hard to predict. Out of control doesn't mean unpredictable, and throwing seemingly random problems can frustrate the player instead of being fun

We initially planned the game to be more of a roguelike where you could learn enemy movement patterns and would get further every time you played because you would require fewer "controls" to reach the exit. Due to time constraints we ended up publishing something that's more like a tech demo with some general enemy and level ideas but little coherence between them, so I can totally see where you're coming from. We have a similar mechanic, but I think your execution was far smoother. I enjoyed the world building and story. Tho the particles kinda took me out of it.

How am I supposed to get through the bricks in Level 3?

I see how that level can be confusing. The stairs are always the end goal and the bricks are just there to make the level a bit smaller. The doorway on the right side of the level is purely decorative but we didn't pay enough attention to color use there.
